"Financial device" just means a credit or debit card. Just based on the charges I'd say he was door checking cars for wallets, purses, and loose change.

I hate these situations because those two will forever be tied together through that child. Or...Tyler completely abandons them to live his carefree life o' crime, Boebert-style. On one hand, the baby (and baby mama) is probably better off without him, but OTOH, may have daddy abandonment issues. Or the baby may be fine, idk.

Either way, Lauren needs to get her own house in order before trying to do anything in the House. Not being a very good tradwife.

I have only sons (who are both grown), but when I had kids that age, they would not have been allowed to go over to that friend's house. I live in a very heavy gun culture place and when it came to play dates, I spoke up. "We have guns, but they are locked up in a gun safe; I don't even know the combination. the ammo is in another safe that is separate. Do you have any guns in your home that are unsecured? (when they went to someone else's house).

Children are curious, children don't follow rules, boys love guns (I mean my older kid who couldn't even watch Old Yeller bc it made him cry used to eat his pbj's into the shape of a gun), and kids are not supervised closely every minute they're playing with a friend. I'd rather make someone feel uncomfortable or think I'm weird than bury my kid.

I wonder if CPS is concerned about this family that seems to always be having scrapes with the law.
