The very first story on Fox and Friends today. As I understand, he overstayed his worker visa.

Monsters exposed (cc from Christchurch thread)

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-03-26/ ... s/10936052

Mr Ashby and Mr Dickson met with a series of senior NRA officials to discuss funding, gun laws, communications strategy and political advice.

In one meeting, NRA media liaison Lars Dalseide offered them advice on what to say to gun control advocates when mass shootings occur.

Dalseide: "'How dare you stand on the graves of those children to put forward your political agenda?' Just shame them to the whole idea."

Dickson: "I love that."

Dalseide: "It's like, 'If you, if your policy, isn't good enough to stand on itself, how dare you use their deaths to push that forward?!'"

Ashby: "That's very good, very strong."

This is a weird one. Not a shooting, not yet anyway. 4 dead in 'multiple homicide' at North Dakota business Another story simply says that four people were found dead at 7:30 am, and this story doesn't even say that much. Interviews with a few people who aren't saying anything. Still, add it to list, right?

This happened yesterday . Sprout and I hadn’t heard of him, but my nephew knew him. The mayor of LA, as well as Kamala Harris, had nice things to say about him. He was to meet with LA County police brass this week to discuss ending gang violence.

Yeah, the name. ;)
Nipsey Hussle, a Grammy-nominated rapper was killed Sunday afternoon, shot in broad daylight outside his store in South Los Angeles in a burst of gunfire that left two other people wounded, police said.
Hussle, who was known as much for his work in the community as for his music, was hit multiple times about 3:20 p.m. in front of his store, the Marathon Clothing, at 3420 W. Slauson Ave., police said. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was 33.

The investigation was a real clusterfuck, probably deliberately, at least in part. Of the nine people killed, some reports say the police killed at least four.

A comment on another forum:
The DPS (the Texas State Police) were there from the start. My impression of what happened, without re-reading the dozens of things I've read in the last few years about it, is that the large majority of people attending were not criminals, they were recreational riders. A fight started in the parking lot between criminal gang members, and the police, who were watching them from sniping positions, started shooting. No one has figured out who killed whom. The police then arrested everyone nearby who they didn't like the looks of, on generic, non specific charges, and held them in jail for weeks on unaffordable one million dollar bonds. If Waco is bankrupted it will be because of the lawsuits to come against the city.

I've heard this bull before.

Two children played with a handgun and one was shot in the stomach, Georgia police say

A 7-year-old Georgia boy was shot in the stomach Monday as he and an 8-year-old played with a handgun police said. The two children found a .45-caliber handgun as they were alone in an apartment, Griffin police said. The accidental shooting happened as the children mishandled the weapon, authorities said.

The 7-year-old victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was undergoing surgery, police said.

Police in Griffin, about 38 miles south of Atlanta, did not say if the two children are related.

Monday's shooting follows another child-involved shooting in Georgia last week.

A 6-year-old girl died two days after her 4-year-old brother accidentally shot her in the head in Paulding County, about 40 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta, according to the Paulding County sheriff's office.
