I didn't know where this was located BUT 2 seconds of a google image search = table of jugurtha tunisia
The Jugurtha Tableland is a large mesa near the town of Kalaat es Senam, Tunisia, which stands almost 600 metres (2,000 ft) above the Ez-Zghalma plain.[1] 1,500 m (4,900 ft) long and 500 m (1,600 ft) wide, it covers a total area of nearly 80 hectares.[1]

The Tableland is a geologic feature known as an inverted relief. Millions of years ago, the hard limestone top of the mesa was actually the bottom of a valley. Over the years, the softer surrounding hills were worn away by erosion, leaving the Tableland – and former low point – as the highest point on a plain.[1] Local drinking water comes from the Ain Senan spring at the edge of the Jugurtha Tableland.

How did they think the tree was cut before it was petrified and where’s the rest of it?

They cut it with a two man crosscut saw. The rest of it? They used it to build the sphinx.

Idiots. The height of trees is limited by their ability to force sap up their phloem tissues against gravity, which tops out at about 300’. A ten-mile-high tree would be over 52,000’ tall.

Where's your imagination? Denver has a mile high stadium. Shirley the trees there are taller than the stadium. :P

That's probably the tree Jack planted with his magic beans. No wonder there was a giant at the top of the darn thing. Whew, finally an explanation that makes sense!

Could've been a short fat tree. There's no evidence it grew more than a coupla feet higher than where it was cut off by a pair of ancient giants with a humungous crosscut saw.

One just now from one of my own (notoriously idiotic) sisters, who texted me:
(Our younger sister) was just here. You're never gonna believe this. John is dead. He went to the hospital because he thought he was having a heart attack. They told him he'd to have stints put in or have open heart surgery. He chose stints. Before they could operate he had a massive heart attack. They tried to revive him but couldn't. One artery was 100% blocked.
We have a brother named John. So I naturally assumed the worst. But she texts again:
Not OUR John! It's (Younger sister's husband's) BROHER.
I just re-read my message. I'm sorry, I see I didn't make that clear!
Me:
Well, that's a relief. But I just told everybody at work that my brother died.

I've heard this bull before.

I didnt have to look this up but I did anyway
Daniel 4:20-22 New International Version (NIV)

20 The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth, 21 with beautiful leaves and abundant fruit, providing food for all, giving shelter to the wild animals, and having nesting places in its branches for the birds— 22 Your Majesty, you are that tree! You have become great and strong; your greatness has grown until it reaches the sky, and your dominion extends to distant parts of the earth.
Yeah. Daniel was interpreting a dream. The Bible wasn't actually saying that there really was a tree that large, but that the King dreamed that there was.

I really hope that they are not saying those Mesas are those trees referenced in that Bible verse.

Silly you, Suranis. You used the NIV Bible. That's fake. Every True Believing Christian uses the KJV Bible.
