So Habba can go on the Tee Vee to play to cheap seats and say they have all the grounds. But when it comes time to do the actual law work (and not the PR grift), the appellant's competent counsel (so: not Habba) will be ethically constrained to raise only the nonfrivolous grounds. And, if appellate counsel is actually good, will further cull and raise only the grounds that might have a reasonable shot of winning, or at least chip away at some of the damages.

When I was on active duty, we were required to raise even frivolous grounds if the client wanted. We had to preface it with “Appellant personally raises the following issues pursuant to United States v. Grostefon…” That’s how the Court reconciled the UCMJ that says the client gets to raise whatever he wants, and our ethical obligation. Examples would be where the client wanted to litigate something that was waived by an unconditional guilty plea, or complain about the severity of a sentence that was a fraction of the maximum allowable. The Courts were like, we know this sucks - just help the guy put his best foot forward. I spent (or wasted) more time on Grostefon issues than meritorious issues.
When I retired from active duty my fee agreement specifically excluded Grostefon issues. I let the client’s military counsel handle those.

If that's so, could she get in trouble for telling the judge something that wasn't true?

Trump is facing charges in New York City brought by DA Alvin Brag in the so-called hush money case for falsifying his company’s internal records to mask substantial monies delivered by his former fixer lawyer Michael Cohen to buy the silence of porn star Stormy Daniels and also bury unflattering stories in the supermarket tabloid The National Enquirer.
Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records and repeatedly denied having a sexual encounter with Daniels while his attorneys have tried to defend the payments as legitimate legal expenses and not part of an effort to shield the affair.
The case is slated to start trial on March 25.
"Number one, do I think it's going to go ahead? Well, really it shouldn't. We have an immunity defense that's currently up on The Supreme Court," Habba said to Fox. "It's going to be made a decision and should be stayed until all those decisions are made, number one, and we'll see what happens there."
The implication is that Trump's claims that he is untouchable from any criminal prosecution as president also includes his actions prior to being sworn in as president as well.

Is this worthy of the victim filing a bar complaint? Alina was giving legal advice to help not to assist the person receiving the advice, but to gain favor with Trump, i.e. working against the victim's best interests.
Seems like an obvious violation of professional standards.

Donald Trump hasn’t ruled out being bought by foreign powers—according to his legal team.
On Thursday, the GOP presidential nominee’s attorney, Alina Habba, failed to say that Trump definitely would not turn to a foreign country if it meant he could secure bond money to cover his $464 million bank fraud penalty.
“Is there any effort on the part of your team to secure this money through another country, Saudi Arabia or Russia, as Joy Behar seems to think?” asked Fox News’s Martha MacCallum, referring to a recent episode of The View in which Behar speculated that such a move—that is, having a president bought and sold by potentially hostile foreign powers—could be a cataclysmic national security threat.
But none of that fazed Habba, who completely sidestepped answering the question and failed the very basic test of answering “no.”
“Well, there’s rules and regulations that are public,” Habba replied. “I can’t speak about strategy, that requires certain things and we have to follow those rules. Like I said, this is manifest injustice. It is impossible, it’s an impossibility. I believe they knew that.”
“I think everything is done intentionally. I do not doubt that the witch hunt that the election interference goal is what was ringing steady and loudly and true throughout all these trials, frankly. And we’re seeing it. It’s the demise of our country, not the demise of Trump,” she added.
