 listeme, I thought of that, too. But you have to make choices and click here and there after you report, it’s not a shrieky flail oops thing.

I reported the thing that looks like Stern last week-ish. Fucking Nazi pedophile.

I think Twitter just doesn't like that word, bimbo. Which, in all honesty, is a sexist thing to say, at least until we start calling men bimbos someday. I myself was briefly suspended for calling Tomi Lahren a bimbo.

But the enforcement is spotty, as Estiveo and others have shown. Yanno, there's a word censor on Fogbow, which only has a few words in it. Why can't Twitter have something like that, so if you type the word "bimbo" the software automatically changes it to "intelligence-challenged lady" or something?

So, the psycho room mate we had and evicted has been having further adventures with the legal system. On a whim (and driven by boredom) I checked a couple of county court sites to see if she had anything pending. I knew of one charge that she had for fleeing the scene of an accident, but also ran across a low level felony and high misdemeanor. Also traffic related. It's been going for awhile. She was supposed to have a plea/sentencing hearing last month, which was continued because she claimed a doctor's appointment (at least that is what her court appointed attorney entered into the record). It was supposed to happen tomorrow.

Out of curiosity I checked today. Another motion to continue has been filed. She is saying she is too sick to attend court. She is just delaying the inevitable. But looks like the motions were granted.

How do some people get away with gaming the system so much. She has an extremely long history of driving violations, DUI, no insurance, suspended license etc. Yet, she still drives, still blows off court dates, and on and on.

I guess I was raised to take actual responsibility. Who knows.

That @SFriegen account is a guy who is a retired German lawyer who lives in France and has a serious hatred of our Sterngard Friegen. He's been banned at least 5 times from Fogbow, but he keeps sneaking back in under different usernames. His first username was TheEuropean, and for quite some time he was a friendly member and anti-birther. He may have given up trying to sneak back in, now that Sterngard isn't around much any more. But I still check out IP addresses and other things before approving any new members. I'm hoping he stays away for a long, long time.

Are you certain he’s not a current member?

Never mind. You don't have to answer that.

One or two of his usernames might be on the memberlist, but they're perma-banned.

I'm trying to decide which is more thrilling: working in the train tunnel, or walking the perimeter of PDX.
You just posited two things that would have thrilled both of my parents. They would likely vote for the train tunnel. Dad was a structural engineer who designed train road beds. Mom ran a soils lab which tested the local soils.
Good choice. The nice thing about tunnel work is it is always 60F down there. All year round, you need a jacket or hoodie. In the winter, the train pulls in freezing air near the portals (entrances), and hot air in the summer, but it settles back to the prevailing temp in about a quarter mile. There's a three percent grade. So, it's an inclined walk uphill from Goose Hollow (east) to Sunset (west), and a nice decline on the way back. There are some mechanical interstitial layers that are interesting to visit. Spiraling stairwells downward into dungeonous catacombs of pumps and motors, and large carvernous rooms echoing with electric hum. The west vent is an athletic 300ft vertical ladder. It took me about a half hour to ascend it.

Yay! Good negotiating skills, getting more than the ask. You could teach someone a few things.

So vic’s baby brother is visiting now. I approved his first post and Vic has assured us it’s really his brother. You probably won’t have time to get all the forms and tar and whips and such together for him, will you?
