Ok, now my detective thing is working . . .

The kid falls at the park and then shows up at the clinic with no associated scrapes from the fall on his wrist, or anywhere else. He looks like his knees are dirty, but there's no grass, or dirt stains. No dirt in his hair. The soles of his shoes are clean.

Okay, maybe he got out of the car at the park and hurt himself before he could even get dirty?

Maybe dad brushes Titus off as the child is crying about his arm and only realizes he's really hurt until after he's gotten all the dirt and leaves off him?
