Effectively, the only thing they gained with this permit was a couple freedom toilets (yes, they had to pay for them).
Downside? They have to now follow all the fine print of that permit. Which Imma guessing they will not be able to do.
That is exactly what I thought when I started reading it, no way they can follow all these rules. The only question is whether the rules are enforced or not.
It would be a hoot if the community Covid transmission level were to increase and they tried to force them to wear masks.

So far, the police will get involved only if there is illegal activity or confrontations with counterprotesters.
There are a few things that are likely to be enforced if brought to the city's attention.
On occasion, cans of fuel are visible. Combustibles are a big fucking deal.
The 1776 gives the impression that their permit covers the entire grass of the park they're at. The permit covers only a tiny section of the area.
I'll address counterprotesters in another post. There have been many today.

Mid-afternoon, a few exmembers of TPC showed up to confront Santa for tolerating physical violence, allowing Bandit to continue staying with the group, Big D's criminal record for physically assaulting his son, Big D's active warran in OK, etc. Santa didn't handle their visit well. After talking, and lying to them, Santa hid behind his security and then locked himself in an RV so Freedom Squirrel and her posse couldn't confront him anymore.
The 1776 did call the police.
You can watch today's confrontation at either link.
Freedom Squirrel. Start at approx 1:56:00.
Defender of Ants. Start at approx 1:41:00.
Anarchy Princess is running with the witchcraft voodoo doll scare. She isn't part of the group behind the dolls, but she's running with the witchcraft stuff.
AP is fantastic. Oreo loathes her. He reported her to CPS. She had her children with her at a protest. The kiddos were sitting on a bench approx 100 ft away from her. One of the kiddos is 15 years old. Her children were perfectly safe. But Oreo is a psychopath. (Imo, he really is a psychopath.) CPS determined that her children were and are fine.
AP had a video of tonight's visit with the 1776. I think she's editing the video now. Her youtube channel.
The 1776 did call the police about AP.
The 1776 loves free speech, as long as it's their speech.
The livestreamers began to have complete breakdowns by dinnertime. AP showed up hours after dinner.
The voodoo dolls put 1776 over the edge. They'remore paranoia continues to grow. They are on edge. It's delicious!

Wai, wait, wait.
Aren't all those permit 'conditions' mandates?
Isn't that what they're protesting about?
Do I smell a catch-22?
Santa fought getting permits for a very long time. What broke him? The 1776 couldn't have a portapotty without a permit. The poop bucket was unbearable for the group. Which might be the most normal reaction to anything that I've seen from the 1776.
Santa said yesterday that the 1776 is going to stay at their DC spot for all of Aug. He will have to apply for another permit to stay after Aug 8.
Wouldn't it be interesting if some other group applied for the spot before 1776?

The permit states one (singular) porta-pottie. Does that not mean he is violation with two he had shipped in/delivered this morning?

There was some confusion about portapotties. I think it was a genuine misunderstanding.
Santa was told he had to have an ADA compliant portapotty. I think Santa thought he had to have an ADA compliant portapotty in addition to a regular portapotty.
They did get the ADA compliant portapotty. That's something.
ETA: The police won't give them grief about a 2nd portapotty. They know the group was peeing in bushes and pooing in a bucket. I think calls were made to the health dept over concerns of how poo was being disposed of.

Santa haz the sadz.
Yet again, Santa was let down. Says there was supposed to be between 100-200 vehicles arriving at Bunker Hill. It did not happen. (par for course)
So if I'm following along (it rained on my scorecard again ):
1. Santa Imposterclaus finally got a permit, and
2. They instantly violated the permit, but
3. Nobody cares, because they are losers, and
4. Besides, the anti-convoy peeps - every single one of them Antifa or BLM - are far more entertaining anyway.
This is epic.
The more I learn about this planet, the more improbable it all seems.

They were foiled by some Antifa ants marching (*insert a Dave Matthews song*) and a BLM squirrel protestor.

mtg showed up to the 1776RM rally in front of Marriott Marquis, where tfg is likely to speak. She apparently led them in song or some crap? I'm sure there is video.

Short time ago. Several individuals from 1776 protesting for free speech? Where is their 1776RM ID?

72 hour ultimatum. Show up or it's OVER!
