NBC: Nevada's attorney general is investigating fake electors who backed Trump in 2020:

Nevada is the latest state to look into the 2020 scheme to aid Trump, with others already underway in Michigan, Arizona and Georgia.

Nevada’s attorney general has opened an investigation into the state’s false electors — despite previous comments that such a move was unlikely, two sources with knowledge of the investigation told NBC News.

“Is he actively investigating this? 100 percent,” one of the people with knowledge of the investigation said of Attorney General Aaron Ford, a Democrat.

Several Nevada fake electors have appeared before a criminal grand jury investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. That includes Nevada GOP state party chair Michael McDonald and vice chair Jim DeGraffenreid.

Chesebro's lawyer was on Ari Melber tonight. As much as said the only reason Chesebro took the deal was because it was too good to be true, and that he (Chesebro) hadn't done anything wrong. Didn't really answer Ari's question about whether that meant he'd lied when he said he was guilty.

Anyway: He (the lawyer) also trotted out the "alternate electors are perfectly legal in the US of A and always have been, so neither they, nor Chesebro, broke any laws" argument. Since they went over this ad nauseum in the Eastman disbarment trial, I tuned out pretty quick.

Good luck with that, Georgia defense attorneys.

What bothers me is the use of scare quotes being used around Election Fraud. It appears to me that his frame of mind is still that there was no election fraud regarding fake electors.

Today, Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford announced that six Nevadans have been indicted due to their actions in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election.

The six Nevadans were signatories of documents in which they posed as the duly qualified electors for the state of Nevada in an effort to disrupt the results of a free and fair presidential election.

BREAKING: Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro, who spearheaded the fake elector scheme, plead guilty in Georgia case and is speaking with prosecutors in states that submitted fake electors about the scheme and what local fake electors did. He was interviewed by the Nevada AG last week and today, six Nevada fake electors were indicted by a grand jury. Chesebro is meeting with investigators from @AZAGMayes office early next week. The eleven AZ fake electors below should be very concerned. So far, fake electors have been charged criminally in Michigan, Georgia and Nevada. Is AZ next?

Speaking of them. They settled a civil suit today agreeing to revoke their fake certs and not to be electors for the next election.

Further down it mentions the AG is looking into it though is also looking to the feds. He has not ruled out state charges. Who knows.

Yes, I would have preferred if Willis had gone to the minions and said "Cheezy gonna rat on you, what do you want to do?" and then refused to give Cheesebro a deal. It goes against everything reasonable to give the one who fed these people the idea, convinced them it was OK, then they get prosecuted and he gets off with a slap on the wrist. That is just ridiculous.
