I think we have a stray in the neighbourhood. It's got a collar on but its real scruffy and it was REALLY possessive of the lamb bones we tossed into the yard for the magpies to clean up.
Wouldn't let me near, but it wasn't aggressive. It just picked up its bone and quietly walked across the street when I approached, then an hour later it was back in the yard working on the next bone.
Never seen it before. We'll see if its back tomorrow. Shouldn't be too hard to get its confidence and check its collar, but it really rained today, he may have disappeared to a dryer more secure location by now.

I found out that one of the other asdopters did a DNA test on two of her siblings.
