A mutual friend sent these to me for posting. I tried to adjust the light so make them legible.

If I believed in a god who is omnipotent, and who created the Universe and everything in it, and who controls the affairs of all creatures great and small ... I think I would be a little dismayed to find that He personally wanted me to be in prison at the age of 76, when other people are walkin' around going to nice restaurants and stuff.

So I don’t know he’s learning but it certainly does not include the fact that he and he alone is responsible for his “predicament.”

Hard to believe Terry will be in jail for another Thanksgiving. And he still doesn't seem to have learned anything. Enjoy the turkey Terry.

Is there anything else here or Terry's just in till 2024 or whatever?

Rooster at PFA is trying to get his followers (both of them) to write the new FL gov elect to beg for Trussell's pardon. Since Trussell never threatened to indict him for treason, I wonder what his chances are.

What do those docket entries mean? Are there super secret clues that show Terry will be given a red carpet exit and key to the city? Where is Inger Garcia? Why hasn't she made this happen? And Morburger. Seems only we at Fogbow have a sense of urgency about this, with the (maybe) Seraquel they're giving Terry, he just thinks God wants him in jail. Just waiting for the excitement to begin again, Terry should demand a NEW TRIAL for Fogbow member's amusement.

What do those docket entries mean?
That the case is final, and closed.

I infer it means that Trussell didn't appeal to SCOFL, but I'm happy to be corrected.

If I have understood correctly, they barely made the 30 days if the clock started at the denial of the rehearing. However, since it was a denial of a rehearing, would the clock start tolling after the opinion since that is where the question invoking jurisdiction would be derived?

I could see the clock starting early if only to prevent people from using a motion for rehearing as a delaying tactic.

I hope they find a way to get Terry Trussell out early, I'm so curious to see when he gets out if he's seen the light and will be a good, quiet citizen, or will he go right back to the antics that put him in jail? Kinda like a lab rat, I want to see the next step. What will Rodger B. Dowdell Jr. be doing in 2024?

But if not, Realist, Kate and Foggy have tons of time to make TRUSSELL 2024 swag like bumper stickers, coffee mugs, etc. Cafepress.com, here we come!

Cross-posting:

According SCOFL's docket (No. 18-2084), Trussel (in the COA) moved for rehearing (which was denied in November), so in December he sought a discretionary appeal. In January, the state opposed.

So I presume that Trussell can reply, and then SCOFL will decide whether to grant cert. (in SCOTUS' terms).

In SCOFL, Trussell is essentially repeating his argument (but with a fancier dress) about the prosecutor's closing argument contradicting the charging papers.
Edit: Type-O.

I am confused as the why all the Birther and loon lawyers, keep making all these motions for reconsideration and rehearings. I thought a rehearing at the appellate level and reconsideration at the trial level was not necessary to move the case to the next level. Yet, they seem to waste time doing this.
In Trussell's defense, there was a dissent. You aren't necessarily out in left field/being dilatory if you can point to a judge agreeing with your position.

Did we know that the Trussell case has been published? And that we may cite it, so that when GIL empanels one of his citizen grand juries we can post the citation and warn the suckers who would follow GIL into the netherlands that doing so is stupid and probably unlawful?

Here's a copy of the opinion: https://scholar.google.com/scholar_case ... _sdt=4,167

The legal citation is Trussell v. State, 256 So.3d 935 (Fla. 1st DCA, 2018).

Klayman, of course, will distinguish the Trussell case and it will be amusing to see how he does it. But he knows, and we know, that his citizens grand juries are without power and that if they attempt to enforce their work, that they may commit a felony.

Klayman seems presently distracted by other shinies.

But I fully expect that Klayman's citizen grand jury will never see a state court. I'm guessing Klayman will ask the president to enforce it, and when that doesn't happen, he'll file a federal writ of mandamus.

Is there a federal crime equivalent to the one for which Trussel was convicted?
If Larry were to mention his playtime grand jury in filings, would that be enough to put him inside?
