Judge Fine is running down the basics, this is his first appearance. He has the right to remain silent. He has been sworn in. He has accepted a free federal public defender until he is able to hire an attorney to represent him, should he choose.

The conspiracy charges are being reiterated and the government is seeking to detain Vallejo. Judge Fine says he has the right to have an identity hearing for the court to decide if he is the person named in the warrant and accused.

The detention hearing could happen in AZ or DC, at his choice. The identity hearing, if he wants it, happens in AZ.
