I followed a live tweet of that hearing, they were really bad. They deserved this. One down, what, two to go on Monday? Hopefully they will go the same.

With deepfakery as advanced as it is, I really wonder if anyone will take that old "I UNFRIEND YOU!" clip and insert some of these jokers suing to be named election winners.

I note that his only references pronouns. So I'm assuming a school administrator or district could require that "effective immediately, all faculty, staff, contractors, and students will refer to all other faculty, staff, contractors, and students by their chosen first name; grades and other official paperwork to be submitted to the school or the district will be submitted under the legal names on file with the school, but conversations, oral or written, with other individuals shall afford them the diginity they request by including the name they choose."

Look, no pronouns.

Ah, I see we got in the "if doing so is contrary to (their) religious or moral convictions" clause.

As an Atheist I wanna know when I get to start saying "fuck you" to anything related to morals or religion, because I've about decided that all of it is contrary to my secular convictions.

I was recently at a Company sponsored conference that on the first day began with a prayer. So here I am, standing there with my head bowed in respect if nothing else, thinking to myself how in the hot place I don't beleive in I am standing in a room of 300 people listening to some fundie who expects me and everyone else to say a prayer with him. People from around the country and several from overseas, and here we are listening to the Jimmy Swagggart wannabe just hamming it up for the lord.

But I'm too decent a person to have raised a fuss. I'm sure if I had rolled a 12 foot statue of Baphomet in the room and asked everyone to stand, strip to the waist and chant "Hail Satan" 3 times with me, I'd be a retired one armed transmission mechaninc from Argillite, Kentucky.

A rural AZ county? IOW the Republicans were unable to run an election without error?

Hasn't the election already been certified? Who audits the recount of a late reporting error?

Firm gets Arizona tax money to tear down border barrier it just built

Arizona taxpayers will spend $76 million to take down the shipping containers that Republican Gov. Doug Ducey used state dollars to put along the U.S.-Mexico border.

New contracts show Ducey’s Department of Administration has agreed to pay AshBritt Management & Logistics $57.2 million to tear down the containers in Cochise County and transport them to Tucson. That is on top of the $95 million allocated to the company to put them there in the first place.

Another addition to the contract gives the firm more than $9.3 million to deconstruct the 3,820-foot ersatz wall of double high containers it put up near Yuma at a cost of $6 million.

And then there’s $9.8 million to transport containers, which were awaiting planned use in the barrier, from their current location near Sierra Vista up to Tucson.
