It's not a bug. It's a feature!

If he was fully engaged with his wife's illness to the point he could not perform his duties, it was his obligation to take a temporary leave of absence and leave the running to his Vice Gov.

He does not look good now no matter what way you slice it.

I hope she recovers fully but we all know cancer has a mind of its own. How is he going to play this for his 2024 POTUS run?

What suranis said.

He had a duty which, considering he’s trying to be the next repeached Florida man, he deliberately blew off just like his mentor did so many times. ‘Fuck All Y’all.’

It would be nice if there is video from a minute before this, but tentatively, I think it is safe to say that Ron DeSantis is taking no questions.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) responds to media and constituent criticism that he was missing in action for the second half of December amid an Omicron surge:

“I guess I should’ve been at the beach in Delaware, right, and then they woulda been really happy with that.”
Not much of a response.

I wish his wife well and that she does recover from her illness, him not so much. I do think he is totally without integrity and incapable of honesty, which of course makes him a prime candidate for the 211st C KKKGOP.

Pivots from bullying to sniveling victimhood in 1.2 seconds.

Not a world record.

Well shucks. I think I was wrong about DeathSantis keeping his head down over the holidays for no particular reason. I'm gobsmacked.

Wow, relative to the way he usually speaks that was amazingly bad.

When he did his Broward Health appearance on 1/3, it struck me that he was not speaking at length but rather saying a few sentences and then announcing another speaker. I guess this is why.

Well, well, well. Another lying sack Republican. Does he think no one will notice that he’s breathing like TFO when he returned from Walter Reed or what?

I too wish Mrs. DeSantis best of luck in ridding herself of the cruel, life-threatening sickness that has killed so many innocent people, and I hope she is able to divorce him.

Too far?

Just as all those mayors and Fried were saying all along. Now that he has all the sudden found them, and they are, oh so surprising...expired, supposedly he's going to ask the federal government to extend the expiration date so they can be used.

:brickwallsmall: Medical devices have an expiration date for reason. The chemical reaction cannot be guaranteed after that date. I understand that DeSantis is not concerned over false negative, s**t happens, a handful of undetected cases is collateral damage. Prolonging an expiration date to be on the safe side would require a research effort to see how fast that specific batch (batches) of devices detoriates, even accounting for the fact that regulated limits have a large space for error incorporated. And considering the litigous nature of the Americans, who will cover for damages, the state of FL?

PS. nice to see how the FL republican state government uses the tax $$$ :blackeye:

And when the Goverment refuses to allow them to use those tests, Ronda will blame Biden for keeping badly needed testing kits from deserving Floridians. Vote for DieSantis!

DeSantis got what he wanted. He wanted to reduce testing so there would be fewer cases to report. He should pay for the new test supplies.
