Julian Calendar
Gregorian Calendar
Foggy Calendar.

I've worked with Orthodox friends so have learned to translate dates from time to time. It is much easier to go from Foggy Calendar to Gregorian Calendar so I'm cool with folks using the Foggy Calendar.

Actually, dates can be problematic for me anyway. I tell the choir that such and such anthem will be on the 3rd Sunday of Advent (for liturgical geeks, also known as Gaudete Sunday or Rose Sunday). They ask what date that is, and I go, "I don't know, it's the 3rd Sunday of Advent." My brain, especially for Sundays, only thinks in terms of the Liturgical Calendar.

Happy Winter Solstice, y'all.

A friend of mine recently changed their first name to Wynter, so I called them up and said "It's the first day of Winter!" I got a belly laugh from them. In case it wasn't obvious, they love winter and snow and the like.
