Ukraine Foreign Minister.

Russian army is firing from all sides upon Zaporizhzhia NPP, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. Fire has already broke out. If it blows up, it will be 10 times larger than Chornobyl! Russians must IMMEDIATELY cease the fire, allow firefighters, establish a security zone!

I guess this means Russia's generals are sufficiently behind Putin that they are willing to shell a nuclear plant. I was kinda hoping they were on the fence, since so little is coming out about their stance... but this suggests they are beyond hope.

There's a fire on the right, mostly obscured by a small building.
WASHINGTON, March 3 (Reuters) - U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said on Thursday the reactors at Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station "are protected by robust containment structures and reactors are being safely shut down".
Granholm said on Twitter she had just spoken with Ukraine's energy minister about the situation at the plant, where a fire broke out during fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces.
I think about half of Ukraine's electricity comes from nuclear reactors. Where will the people get their heating and electricity from if the reactors, or some of them, are shut down? That, I guess, is part of Putin's plan, such as it is.

It was a livestream, the action died out it appears, thankfully. Here’s what it looked like earlier.

An interesting analysis of Russian army logistics and the problems in invading Ukraine.
The interesting part is that it was written last November.

This labelled google maps image from the New York Times helps understand the orientation of what happened at the reactor site. It seems there was a firefight directed at an ancillary building (some sources are calling it a training facility) adjacent to the reactor complex proper. The surveillance camera whose images we saw would be pointed downward along the road in front of it with the fire going right to left across that road.
Here's the building the next morning:
