One of them, a 47-year-old woman, drove some of it back to the campground. I'm going to assume she was on an interstate or at least a highway. She was reading her live chat the entire way while driving. 1 second with eyes on the road, 5-10 seconds reading, then answering questions. Someone said, well, newer cars practically drive themselves. Yeah, no. It was horrifying. I hoped she'd at some point gently rear-end a state trooper just hard enough to piss them off.
I do think they are over the moon at all the comments and free stuff they're getting for sitting around.
Big rig drivers do this, too. Every livestreamer does this. It's dangerous, rude, and narcissistic.

I fully expect an outbreak of Lyme Disease amongst the 1776.

Regardless of what the majority "verdict" becomes, the term addictive is grossly misused. My migraine keeps me from explaining that in more detail.

Ok these counter protesters need to stop this shit. now. its one thing being asses in DC where there are rules and you can hide behind the protection of the police. its quite another to do it in the middle of Redneckville. They are grinning their way into hospital of they are lucky and death if they are not. The 1776ers are fat, lazy, out of shape and stupid, but that's the problem, they are stupid, have access to guns, honestly believe they are revolutionary heroes with a massive sense of entitlement, and they outnumber the counter-protesters.
Someone needs to reign in this Manic phase now, before they get themselves killed.

The counter protestors are the same klan. They are not "antifa" (nor progressive left, nor democrats) -- let them fight this out as in a bad family reunion gathering. Chips will fall as they may.
Edit: EtA: We only saw a few times actual progressives engage this group, and it was mild. This one young lady who was protesting the abortion ruling and then later she brought a couple of friends with her to debate the bowel movement -- that ended when the male of her group was challenged to "take a walk" with one of the 1776ers -- which means fists. The three real counter protestors left.
That was it. Al this other conflict is internal to the same group of misfits. No one else is paying them attention. (okay, some of us watch but that's not what I mean by attention).
