Would you have been more impressed if it was a zebra nesting inside a dingo? That would have been a sight to see!

I wonder how the police officer knew who was sleeping in that bed and addressing him by first name  Does he often get picked up in others beds?

Stubborn fox refuses to leave woman’s home after trashing kitchen
A fox refused to move from a mother's kitchen after it snuck in during the early hours before causing havoc in the house.
Emma Slade, 39, left a door open at her home in Essex after she let her dog in during the night.
The next morning, the mum-of-of three woke up to find rubbish strewn over the kitchen.
Slade was ready to blame her pet until she saw the fox was calmly curled up on a counter top.
"I was quite scared at first, but it didn't even flinch or want to move at all," she said.

I think I might call BS on this advert -- what's the number to text or the short code so I can get my freebie samples and Hot Girls with Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

We have a few strange ads here in Canada. One for a cough syrup that tastes as awful as advertised. And one for a gum that really does still taste like soap.

A story about how bad Buckley’s cough syrup really tastes. Once after I had taken it for a cold/cough, I gagged every time a I wanded a student’s library card with that last name for months.

It does! The theory is that it the medicine works on your brain, not your throat, so it suppresses the reflex to cough or something. Personally, I think it just tastes so awful (it really, really does   ) that your body promises to get better if you just stop taking the Buckley’s.

I just found this description and it makes me laugh, especially the part about the owner of the company having nightmares about someone giving him Buckley’s.

The Bad Taste Campaign
After much discussion, it was agreed that Buckley’s Original Mixture possessed two strong characteristics: lousy taste and tremendous efficacy. Using these two characteristics, they produced an award-winning advertising campaign that made Buckley’s Original Mixture and Frank Buckley household names in Canada.
The campaign-slogan was "It tastes awful. And it works." In 1986, the first transit ads featuring Frank Buckley quipping, "I came by my bad taste honestly - I inherited it from my father" and "I wake up with nightmares that someone gives me a taste of my own medicine," ran nationally. The company's simple, honest and humorous approach to advertising helped attract much attention and praise, but more importantly, new users.
The "bad taste" campaign increased the company's market share over 10% in the Canadian cough & cold category. They also successfully implemented this campaign in the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S.

The probiotics for Hot Girls with IBS may be a scam. The studies I have read said to treat IBS the Hot Girl must get a specific formula for her probiotics to work. It is costly and likely not covered by insurance.

If those probiotics really work I want them as I am a former Hot Girl taking two medications for IBS and would love something that works all the time!

Woman sues Kraft Heinz for $5 million, says mac and cheese preparation isn’t as advertised
A Florida woman is suing the Kraft Heinz Company for $5 million, claiming they misled the public about the time it takes to prepare its Velveeta microwavable mac and cheese cups.
<snip>
“Ready in 3½ minutes” is printed on the box, which is the amount of time the product takes to cook in a microwave. However, the suit says it takes more time to complete the other required steps.

This is how the lawsuit describes the cooking process:

* First, consumers must ‘REMOVE lid and Cheese Sauce Pouch.’
* Next, they must ‘ADD water to fill line in cup. STIR.’
* Third, ‘MICROWAVE, uncovered, on HIGH 3-1/2 min. DO NOT DRAIN.’
* Finally, they should ‘STIR IN contents of cheese sauce pouch.’
* Defendant then notes that ‘CHEESE SAUCE WILL THICKEN UPON STANDING’.”

“Consumers seeing ‘ready in 3½ minutes’ will believe it represents the total amount of time it takes to prepare the Product,” the suit states. “Meaning from the moment it is unopened to the moment it is ready for consumption.”

Were you watching the product as it boiled, ma'am?

Yes.

And are you aware that a watched pot NEVER boils?

My god, I didn't think it was a pot!

It was just supposed to be mac 'n' cheese!

I thought it was supposed to cook in 3½ minutes!

What have I done? For the love of the FSM, what have I done?
