Dare I point out that Infra-red light would be counter productive? The testes need to be at a cooler temperature than the body to function properly. As y'all may remember, I spent the entire summer of 1973 living on a nude beach on the Russian River in California with my two dogs (and occasional female companions). I don't remember my balls changing color at all during the course of the summer, whereas my buns were baked brown.

Reduced fertility could be a issue when applying by artificial devices is overdone. Natives living a mostly nude life around the globe (until Chrstian missionaries forced them to cover) did grow families without problems.
