The hardest part about today was, we spent the entire day together in the ER. We talked, we laughed, and despite the circumstances, we had a good day together. When the helicopter crew came to get her, we hugged each other, kissed each other while crying, neither of us ever dreaming that would be the last time we would be together. I remember that day and that moment as if it were today, etched in my memory forever.

I remember following this on PFFPs last year. It was shocking and heart-breaking. It still is. I'm so sorry.

You are lucky that you have moments like that to treasure. I hope you have many such moments etched upon your mind.

They add up to a big ol' pile of treasure, that can't be taxed or taken away from you.

So today is my last one of those "firsts" people speak of, though I suspect there will be many more as time moves on.

A year ago, almost to the minute, my love Mia (Princess foofypants) passed on from this life. So many things have gone through my mind today, but I don't know what else to say, Baby, except that I miss you dearly and love you and always will. :lovestruck:

Eight years today since my mom passed. But she was 94 and very ill and ready to go.

She was taken too soon. I hope you have found peace although I know the void will never be filled. We all care for you if that makes any difference.
