Thanks!

Nope. I hear it's cold down thar.

There's also a George Bryan Inlet somewhere around those parts.

Well, darn. Buitengebieden has locked his twitter account. Since I’m a banned person I can’t request access.

He must have had awful trolls to have done this. Does anyone know if there was an incident?

I’m just about ready to get a burner phone and a new account just so I can have my daily Buitengebieden fix. :crying:

Elena Branson, a Putin agent, used to hang around Kauai. She friended a stupid nutcase councilwoman and arranged a trip for her to Moscow. This was about 3 years ago. When I heard Councilwoman Nutcase talking about her Russian buddy, I wondered why the hell Russia was interested in her.

Yesterday DOJ announced charges against Elena Branson for acting as an illegal Russian agent in the United States, "in which she lobbied a Kaua‘i County councilmember...." Every major newspaper has articles about Branson's dealings in the US. Our local newspaper focused on her time on Kauai.
In 2018, the complaint states Branson emailed “Councilmember-1,” representing herself as the chair of the Russian Community Council of the USA, stating the concern to renaming “Russian Fort Elizabeth” to “Pa‘ula‘ula.”

The DOJ complaint alleges this email began back and forths between Kaua‘i County Councilmember Felicia Cowden and Branson, and Branson and Russian diplomats over the course of the next six months, including Branson’s organization of a trip to Russia for a group of Hawaiians in 2019.

Not sure ultimately where this could go, so I'm dropping it here. The Meidas Touch podcast might be very interesting tonight.

Kim Kardashian (I know...) exhorts women in business to work harder like she does if they want to succeed. No, really. And she's kind of a dick about it.

I just wanted to say my kid is a manager at a $ store, and when the price went up it hit a bunch of her customers with fixed income dead in the face.

It was a BIG topic on Nextdoor around here when the dollar store increases hit. Many of the people who shop there, shop there for a reason.

Can't remember where I originally posted it, but my roomies bestie's daughter had her babies on 3/7. They were served their eviction notice via induction and still took their sweet time making their appearance. She and her husband named them Fern and Olive. They are cute (for squished up little Winston Churchill looking mini humans). Mom and babies are fine and are already home.

A headline I never expected to see. :o

Two people stabbed in New York City's Museum of Modern Art

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/two-pe ... ce=twitter
Two people were stabbed on Saturday inside the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in midtown Manhattan and were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, a city police spokesperson said.

No official details on the late-afternoon incident were immediately available, and the police officer taking media queries by telephone told Reuters it remained uncertain whether any suspects had been identified or detained.

The New York Post reported that the two victims were women, and posted separate photographs showing each being moved on a gurney to a waiting ambulance outside the museum in a light snowfall. The Post said the stabbing triggered a chaotic scene that sent MoMA visitors running for the exits.

According to eyewitness accounts from numerous social media posts cited by the newspaper, police arriving on the scene ran straight to the museum's coat room. MoMA is famed for one of the world's largest and most influential collections of modern art.
