GREG LOPEZ: Here’s the thing. There’s only been one perfect man that’s ever walked this earth, and we nailed him to the cross. I’m not a perfect man. I’ve made my mistakes, but I’ve learned from them. And I think most people learn from their mistakes. And I think really that’s what people want to hear.

KYLE CLARK: You don’t see it as an issue of control over women’s bodies.

GREG LOPEZ: No, I do not. I don’t understand how you could you connect those things.

The Colorado representative was diagnosed after going for surgery to have "an acute blood clot" removed.

She was taken to hospital after severe swelling in her upper left leg, her campaign staff said on Tuesday.

The surgery was successful and Ms Boebert is expected to make a full recovery, they added.

Medics say May-Thurner syndrome (MTS) is not necessarily dangerous in itself but can lead to complications and health risks.

It is a condition caused by a problem involving the right iliac artery, which carries blood to the right leg, and the left iliac vein, which returns blood from the left leg towards the heart.

These blood vessels naturally cross over each other in the pelvis. MTS results when the artery squeezes the vein, resulting in reduced blood flow in that vessel.

This may not lead to any symptoms at all, and some people do not know they have the condition, leading the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) to describe it as "clinically silent".

But reduced blood flow can increase the risk of blood-clot formation. If a clot travels to the heart, lungs or brain it can cause a blockage with potentially fatal consequences.

MTS often presents itself through pain or cramp in a person's arm or leg, accompanied by swelling or a discolouring of the skin. Veins can appear more pronounced.

Diagnosis may be confirmed following a CT scan, as was the case with Ms Boebert.

At the December soiree, which was the New York Young Republican Club’s annual gala, multiple witnesses saw a server tell Boebert they would not bring her any more alcohol, with one witness telling CNN the server told the congresswoman they believed she had been overserved. Throughout the night, Boebert also kept attempting to snap selfies with Trump, who was sitting at the same table as her. Eventually, Trump’s security detail stepped in and asked Boebert to stop, according to the witnesses, who attended the event and saw the interaction take place.

Donning an all-black suit and appearing by himself, Tyler Boebert showed up in Garfield County court today, April 11, looking extra spiffy as he was read charges and the punishments he's facing in connection to car break-ins and property thefts he allegedly committed in Rifle earlier this year.

"Thank you for the attire," said 9th Judicial District Judge John F. Neiley. "I appreciate it when people dress for court."

Despite the spiffiness, Representative Lauren Boebert's eldest son — who is now nineteen — went on to claim he was having trouble finding a lawyer that he could afford to represent him in the felony case.

"We are working to hire an attorney, but it's just been kind of hard with the prices," Tyler told Neiley. "Worst case scenario, if we can't get something figured out with the lawyer then we're going to apply for a public defender or whatever works best for me."

Yeah, but spoiled rich kids do stuff like that for kicks. And I still believe drugs are involved.
