That's an interesting question. The PHV rules didn't anticipate provisional licenses. The rules as written suggest that, at long as he complies with both the PHV and provisional-license rules, it should be acceptable.

But there are real-world concerns about who is doing all the supervising. The provisional-license rules contemplate a California attorney supervising, so I could see a court also wanting a PHV application from the purported supervisor as well. Or not, because it is too much busywork for a near-dead case.

Thanks, Scir. I was going to post that as well but I had to run off before I had a chance. I tried to grab the document from PACER but it was unavailable. That happens sometimes for whatever reasons.

You are the greatest Poppy. I wonder if anyone found Philpoot yet. Status conference scheduled for Dec. 7 but guess it will be cancelled if Philpoot doesn't respond to the Judge's order.

Date and Time: Tuesday, December 7, 2021 , at 9:30 am
Location : Telephone

I’m wondering if this is the best idea Dorthea et al can come up with to breathe some life into what is, and always has been, a dead horse. If the Court dismisses the case they can claim tranny etc instead of appearing in court and and showing publicly that they have no case. The grift must go on.

He posted some Glenn Beck nonsense on his FB yesterday.

OK, so he's not in danger, except from his own mind. He may be having a breakdown of some sort.

Whatever. Glad he's not dead somewhere stinking up the joint. :batting:

“PLAINTIFFS’ RESPONSE TO THIS COURT’S ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE” filed 11/19 along with a motion to file an amended complaint and complaint (both on PACER).

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap ... .201.0.pdf

Excerpt:
“6) And, the new cause of action, i.e. R.I.C.O. claim, ties all prior causes of action together, bringing all Defendants, dismissed and current, before this Court for adjudication of liability”

R.I.C.O.!!!

Thanks, Uninformed! I was taking a nap when the update dropped. That'll teach me to snooze on a busy Friday afternoon.
Anyway, here's the 69 page amended complaint that I just pulled up. (It was a bargain, only 30 pages are billable and I still have lots of my free PACER bucks left.)

Wait, what? They are adding a new action against defendants who are no longer a party? Is this even a thing?
Edit: Oh, and they already filed a third amended complaint in October. Is this possibly abuse of process?

FYI, I have a Pacer account that I rarely use. If anyone is short on Pacer bucks, just drop me a line. Login and password are kept at the office, so not instant if it's the weekend.

Thanks BV and Poppy. I skipped through it and looks similar to the several other complaints (North Korea etc.) but Philpoot just added RICO this time. IANAL but I guess this won't make Judge Mosman happy.

I'm wondering how long the widow can keep the grift up. The Husband's corpse has really lost its freshness and chewability at this point, so I doubt that the money is coming in as much. Especially with fresh dangling grifters demanding attention and money from the masses.

Urban Dictionary defines 'spalming' as:
To apply ointment or lubricant to the undercarriage of ones self to prevent chafing and or sores.

Actually, I have never heard that term but the urban definition is basically what I thought it could be.
