I think some of these titles are for search engines, but I prefer short human-friendly ones.p0rtia wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 7:19 amYeah, that.Reality Check wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 12:23 am "Spy hard" sounds like the title of a porno flick.I apologize for requesting the thread rename. Next time I will leave well enough alone.![]()
The first purpose of a title is to indicate the content. IMO, any title for this thread that doesn't start with Mar-a-Lago, which is how this issue is most frequently identified these days, doesn't do its job (cf "Pravda"). And while I"m here, yes, the kitchen-sink style for titles is also a weak choice (cf "Pravda").
I don't mean any of this personally. I've made a living as an editor for 30 years, so I see it has my responsibility to weigh in (again), if not for this thread, but going forward.
Well played, feebs.Kendra wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 10:21 am Here it is.

So the obvious question is where are all those documents missing from the empty folders marked as secret and top secret?Kendra wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 10:21 am Here it is.

They keep getting what they wished for, and it keeps making it worse for them. According to the cultists on the bird site, the president can deem them personal documents and take them as souvenirs.
It is quite possible they are the documents listed elsewhere in the list.Reality Check wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 10:54 am So the obvious question is where are all those documents missing from the empty folders marked as secret and top secret?

You can also see on the inventory the personal property of Trump that DOJ seized as evidence because it was mixed in with classified documents, thereby showing his personal possession of those documents.
And the real pisser is that Trump could have had access to most of these documents including some of the classified ones by following the procedures outlined in the PRA. But this f---ing asshole thinks he was and still is the king and does not think he has to follow rules like every other former president. He has never followed rules and he isn't going to start now.
2. This is going to get a lot of attention too:
43 Empty Folders with "CLASSIFIED" Banners
Empty
Must be fairly alarming to U.S. intelligence community conducting the damage assessment.
Now think about how Trump's legal team is trying to keep this info from the FBI/ODNI.
That's the stuff that goes to NARA to be included into the not confidential part of the presidential library.
Right. What happened to those documents? Maybe they’re among the documents actually seized and maybe they’re not. Who knows? What I do know is there is a shit-ton of work now to de done for every single one of those classified documents because they have all been compromised.Reality Check wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 10:54 amSo the obvious question is where are all those documents missing from the empty folders marked as secret and top secret?Kendra wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 10:21 am Here it is.

And the folders that say “Return to the staff secretary/military aide” are just further proof that he thought the rules don’t apply to him.
Probably empty because he had found a buyer..RTH10260 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 11:03 amKendra wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 10:21 am Here it is.

"Empty folders marked CLASSIFIED"
"Empty folders marked "Return to Staff Secretary / Military Aid"
Where is the content?
Did the former guy pull content and messily fill up boxes, ye know, the guy who complained about the FBI photo?
Certainly. So many levels, eh? However, the hundreds/thousands of unclassified US Gov docs are nonetheless Not His. It pleases me that they were taken. Perhaps the issue will not be pursued, but it would be interesting to know what the conversation was about returning all the _unclassivied_ cods.bob wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 11:02 amAccording to the cultists on the bird site, the president can deem them personal documents and take them as souvenirs.
The volume is notable, but I'm guessing few if any go the heart of the Espionage Act claim, i.e., national-defense information. But they would satisfy the concealment claim.

Yes, but the point is it didn't go to NARA. After 18 months it was still at MarafuckingLago. And no doubt scattered all over the Eastern Seaboard at his other hellholes. No attempt At All to return it.
