That is so disturbing. It's hard to believe he would have done this unless he really did believe voices told him to do this.

I have a family member who suffers from a mental illness and when she is off her medication she is prone to various kinds of hallucination - hearing voices, seeing things, even smelling things, like the time she came in to my kitchen and wanted to know when the muffins would be ready. She smelled blueberry muffins, and I hadn't cooked anything, nothing was in the oven, and I didn't have any kind of fragrant candle burning or anything like that.

How awful for this poor man.

Indonesia crocodile freed from tyre after five years
Dozens of people drag 5.2-metre animal to shore and cut tyre from its neck after it was snared by bird-seller
A wild crocodile in Indonesia that was trapped in a tyre for more than five years has been rescued, freed from its rubber ring and released back into the wild.

Conservation workers have been trying to lure the stricken saltwater crocodile from a river since 2016, after residents of Palu city on Sulawesi island spotted the animal with a motorbike tyre wrapped around its neck.

But it was a local resident who snared the 5.2-metre (17ft) long reptile – regularly seen sunbathing in the Palu River in central Sulawesi – from its tight squeeze late on Monday.

Tili, a 34-year-old bird-seller, used chicken as bait and ropes to catch the animal at the end of what he said was a three-week rescue effort, before dozens of locals helped to drag the crocodile to shore and cut the tyre around its neck.

Imagine legions of women bundled up and trudging between ice fishing huts in blizzard conditions to offer a little entertainment for smelly ice fishermen sitting on splinter-filled plywood benches in their handmade dens. That's an even sadder sight than the "lot lizards" wandering through the parking lots at truck stops offering $20 worth of fun for an overweight, unbathed trucker about to hit the road again.

This guy seems to be in need of professional help.

Louisiana teacher admits to feeding students sperm-laced cupcakes, report says

A Louisiana school teacher who admitted to lacing cupcakes with her ex-husband’s sperm and feeding them to school children now faces nearly 40 years in prison, according to a report.

In 2019, Louisiana sheriff’s lieutenant Dennis Perkins and his wife Cynthia Perkins were arrested and charged with creating child pornography, video voyeurism, and first-degree rape. A report from The Advocate said Cynthia Perkins had worked as a school teacher at the time for Westside Junior High School in Walker, Louisiana.

Actually, if their first thought is paying for it instead of taking a gf/wife...you have to assume that's the only way they can get it.

Queensland man charged with murder after allegedly sawing off another man’s leg
Police allege the 36-year-old used a circular saw to cut off a 66-year-old man’s leg at an Innisfail park
A man has been charged with murder after another man died when his leg was allegedly cut off by a circular saw in a far north Queensland park.

Police allege the men – aged 36 and 66 – drove together to Innisfail’s Fitzgerald park before 4am on Saturday and sat under a tree.

They said about 20 minutes later the 36-year-old allegedly used the saw to cut off the 66-year-old’s leg below the knee before helping him back into the car then leaving on foot.

The injured man was discovered by passersby at about 4.30am and emergency services were called but the 66-year-old died soon afterwards.

On Saturday, Det Acting Insp Gary Hunter told the Cairns Post the man had suffered “horrific leg injuries”.

He said it was not a random attack and police were trying to determine the exact nature of how the two men knew each other.

The 36-year-old man was located by police around noon at a Innisfail residence and has been charged with one count of murder.

He will appear at an Innisfail court on Monday.

Police are appealing for information or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage.

Oh, and what are the requirements for a human head to be classified as an EHS (Exempt Human Specimen)?

DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating the theft of a box of human heads from a parked truck in the city last week.

The heads were marked for medical research and were inside a box labeled ”Exempt Human Specimen,” according to the Denver Police Department.

The truck was parked in the 7700 Block of East 23rd Avenue when the thief broke into the freight company’s truck sometime between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday and left with the box of human remains and a dolly, police said.

It’s unclear if the suspect was aware of what was inside of the box.

The accident location indicates that the deer piss beer came from the Coors Brewery, which is only a few miles west of the accident scene.

Overloaded beer truck will cause closure of I-76
ARVADA, Colo. — An improperly loaded beer truck will force a closure of eastbound I-76 after the morning rush hour, according to the Arvada Police Department.

I-76 is currently down to one lane at Wadsworth Boulevard because Arvada police says a semi-truck has too much beer in its load.

The heavy load appears to have caused the truck to cave in, according to photos Arvada police posted of the incident.
