So since Rubio and Voldemort voted against fed aid, Florida gets none? I'm agin that, the folks there don't deserve that. But it would be nice if they would elect better representatives. Maybe mandatory signs saying "Your tax dollars at work, no thanks to Rubio and Voldemort who voted against federal aid."

A law that requires all projects paid for in full or in part with federal appropriations to *require* that any 3rd party who wishes to pay for and post a clearly visible sign indicating the voting record on those appropriation dollars be permitted to do so without let or hindrance by the federal, state, or local authorities involved. i.e., if you build it with my tax dollars, and I (or a PAC) know how you voted, you cannot stop me (or this PAC) from using my (or this PAC's) money to put up a sign telling everyone how the votes fell. The law will further require that these signs must be truthful in their content and may not contain political argument.

Then no actual taxpayer dollars are spent in putting up the sign, but you can damn sure believe that signs will go up every. single. time.

One of the comments in the thread on this tweet came to the conclusion that DeSantis was basically the Frank Burns character from M*A*S*H and I have never had a more perfect 'settling in' of a realization in my head.
