The Mom (Diego's daughter) also got arrested and jailed for obstructing officers. She refused to hand over the kid to the EMTs. She is out of jail now. She live streamed it.

From looking at some of the FB comments on ammo 4 gov's page, the mom agreed to regular weigh-ins after baby Cyrus got out of the hospital after being there for a week because of vomiting. She called the pediatrician Friday and said she wasn't feeling well and wouldn't be coming in. But when the authorities went to the house for a welfare check no one was home so they put out a BOLO. They weren't home because they all went to dinner at a friend's house. The truck got pulled over after they left the friend's house and that's when ammo got involved.

On Friday March 11, 2022, Meridian Police received a Health and Welfare referral reference a ten (10) month old child.
Police were informed the child had been admitted to the hospital on Tuesday March 1, 2022 after medical personnel determined the child was suffering from severe malnourishment. While under medical care the child was able to gain enough weight and child was discharged in the care of its parents on Friday March 4, 2022.
During a follow up appointment earlier, this week it was determined the child had again lost a significant amount of weight and when the parents canceled the next follow-up appointment and could not be located, the Meridian Police were contacted and advised this child’s condition could lead to severe injury or even death if not treated.
Health and Welfare was able to contact the child’s father, who agreed to bring the child in for an examination, but then failed to show up.
Officers attempted to contact the parents and check on the child at a residence in Meridian, but the occupants were uncooperative and refused to let officers check on the child’s welfare.
Meridian Police then received a warrant to enter the home, but discovered the parents and the child had left, before officers could check on the child. Garden City Police then located a vehicle driven by the father of the child and they conducted a traffic stop. The Meridian Police took the child into custody in the 3700 block of Chinden Blvd., Garden City, Idaho and the child was taken to St. Luke’s Meridian for medical care.

I dunno about Idaho specifically, but CPS generally gets involved only when there’s something specific that needs to be addressed, in this case, a malnourished and dehydrated infant and failure to go to prescribed doctor appointments. Somehow this child is failing to thrive under the care of these two. It can't be financial issues as demonstrated by their personal protection. I think they spend too much time preening for the web, and none on their kid. The child as an accessory is just not working for them. They want something a bit more substantive like lots of public attention orchestrated by a master showman like Ammo.
And Ammon luvz him some embers that he can fan into a conflagration if the press will let him. It's his best magic trick: Take something simple, and make it big. It's not that he's all hat and no cattle. He's got one hat, and it's got one rabbit. He keeps pulling it out, and people continue to be amazed.

There's that, and babies and small dogs don't come in camo. Plus they are just too much maintenance. Great for getting attention, but if you don't have staff to do the upkeep, they are just a drag.
It must be awful to be so entitled, and have to live in Idaho.

I always cringe when I hear the Bundys described as ranchers. If I were a patient, I’d call the police. It’s really hard to rest in a hospital, and that’s not even factoring in the reason you’re there (pain, loss, disease, etc.). Can I drag my IV out and stand my ground?
