He is risen.

I'm not a Christian, but I'm a sucker for a good story, and the story of the guy who rose up after being executed is a powerful, powerful deal. For a lot of reasons.

So Happy Easter to all our Christians. Today I'm also celebrating the rebirth of life, in my own way.

He is Unleavened! :)

Happy Easter everyone.

Some of you might know that the 1916 rising happened on Easter Sunday. While it was in many was a complete shambles lead by total incompetents, it is still an important part of Irish History. Here was the Commemoration today, the first time the Public could attend since the pandemic.

If he is risen, why is he still hanging on the cross in every image presented?

Imma still trying to understand why every depiction of JC portrays him with straight flowing light colored hair when we know if he existed he would not have. He was Jewish.

Because you are looking at depictions from white countries, becasue you are in one. Every culture represents him as one of their own as its more comfortable. Someday you will walk into a black church or a church in Africa and see a black Jesus hanging there.

The western preoccupation with pretending that Whites are the only people who depict Jesus as non Palestinian is irritating to me. Its just not true. And he was not "Jewish," he was Palestinian.

This Korean Jesus is going to come down and sort you out.

And finally, here's a Black Buddah (made in Mexico)

Also, Jesus fucking existed. Don't go down that route. We have more documentation that Jesus existed than we do about any other historical figure, including eye witness testimony. Peter and James, in case you were wondering, and possibly Mark. Plus the 20 other Gospels we have fragments of.

It's exactly as ludicrous as arguing that Obama was born in Kenya. Trying to argue otherwise does not make you smart. You can believe he was not the Son of God while admitting the guy existed.
