You guys need to recogize the President of the third Continental Congress.
Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore,
So do our minutes hasten to their end . . .

I've got a few millions quatloos that says that the few that are left on April 6, refuse to leave.
Or they'll camp in Walmart's parking lot.

I think the convoy will keep one vehicle in the area and members Patriots will rotate driving responsibilities every few days. Then they can claim that their road trip protest lasted for xyz weeks.

Morning meeting:

Brian:
No official convoy. If you do decide to drive, do as few disruptions as possible cause ... church.

The chaplain is MIA!

"Personal protection" workshop, no weapons.

Somebody else:
We have to fight on the state level. (Goalpost moved!)

Those who are trying to decide if they should stay or go. Americans and even Canadians think you're heroes!

Brian:
I absolutely have to go home for a bit. I "don't have a choice". Bla bla bla.

This is no longer a protest. This a movement; a global movement.

I need your help to keep this group together. Shut down rumors immediately. Some here have bad intentions and want to sow division. (We've been infiltrated!)

I think Brian has finally admitted to himself that this group can't keep going. People are discouraged, tired, resentful, and paranoid. He knows it's all downhill from here. At times he bordered on saying that aloud.

Early last week Brian claimed that more than 40 semis would be arriving tomorrow or Tues. He hasn't mentioned the reinforcements for days.

Not all Walmarts allow RV parking, and the parking is OVERNIGHT, not extended stay. You aren't allowed to set up your barbeques, extend awnings, or park yourself in a lawn chair. No outside kitchens. No hook ups for your RV.

YOU MUST ASK AND OBTAIN PERMISSION FROM THE STORE MANAGER!

Evening meeting:

Going to Harrisburg, PA tomorrow for an antivax rally at the PA state capitol.

Holy fuck!

THEY'RE PACKING UP!

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

They're going to CA, likely on Tues or Wed.

10 new bills are proposed in CA. TYRANNY!

Fighting those bills is MORE IMPORTANT than getting the emergency act ended.

The emergency act is already in action. But they can fight these bills!

But they'll come back to DC after CA!

Walmart would be in quite the pickle if the truckers decide to descend upon the Walmart parking lots. Tell them they can't park there, and watch the Walmart shoppers turn on Walmart.

Or let them park there, and have chaos in the parking lots.

Walmart shoppers would probably get pissed that they are interfering with their supply of Tide Pods, which they need to dunk in their coffee.

I'm not sure where Tailia got these numbers, but she's solid. The numbers ate likely from Telegram chats and other chat sites that she doesn't name.
Three weeksafter the so-called “People’s Convoy” landed in Washington, D.C., the group is calling it quits after accomplishing nothing except injuring residents and circling the Beltway.

Co-organizer Mike Landis announced Sunday night that the group would pack its things up in the coming days and drive back to California.

“So what I want to know is, what do you think about heading to California?” Landis asked, to the crowd’s delight. “Sounds like a great plan,” one convoy-goer yelled back.
:snippity:

He pledged to “come back to finish this job” in the metro area at some unspecified time, which seems highly unlikely as their crowd dwindles.

The announcement comes after lead organizer Brian Brase fled Hagerstown again over the weekend amid continued splintering within the group.

“I am not running away,” Brase said in an attempt to convince the crowd Saturday night.
:snippity:

From claiming that average D.C. residents who flipped off truckers during their never-ending Beltway loops were agents of “antifa,” to being hilariously trolled by a single bicyclist and eventually getting a permit swatted down by the U.S. Park Service, the convoy kept stepping on rakes.
:snippity:

During its final week in Hagerstown, the group became increasingly desperate, with two of its medics leaving and factions emerging between those who believed the convoy was “corrupt[ed]” and those who thought it wasn’t. Morale was also dropping fast, and it appeared that the $2 million raised was drying up quickly, as organizers increasingly tightened the restrictions on how and when fuel reimbursements would be distributed to truckers.

Brase, the group’s de facto leader, had previously told The Daily Beast the convoy could go on “indefinitely.” “This is a process that we are hoping to do diplomatically,” Brase said. “We’re in it for the long haul.”

“We could go indefinitely, right now, if that’s what it takes,” he concluded. “We are not going away.”

Bravely bold Sir Brian
Rode forth from parking lot.
He was not afraid to drive,
Oh brave Sir Brian.
He was not at all afraid
To be mocked in nasty ways.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Brian.

He was not in the least bit scared
To eat mashed tots in a gulp.
Or to have his eyes bulge out,
At fingers arisen.
To have his parade split
And his truckers turned away,
And his plates all starred and spangled
Brave Sir Brian.

His cause ignored
And his cash cut off
And his flags removed
And his bowels plugged
And his camp cast out
And his drivers ticketed
And his tRump-

"That's, that's enough video for now lads, there's dirty work afoot."
Brave Sir Brian ran away.
("No!")
Bravely ran away away.
("I didn't!")
When failure reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned bobtail and fled.
("I never!")
Yes, brave Sir Brian turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
("You're lying!")
Swiftly taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Sir Brian!

I don't want somebody around me to have a medical procedure (best wishes to Dr. V) but I could really use some bored brain goblins right now. Tis the season for the church musician to stress out (and in the Episcopal tradition, this time of year is way worse than Advent/Christmas).

Evening meeting. Tonight's speaker is Mike.

Goalpost moved! This is about waking people up!

-We've done a lot here. We have breakfast together EVERY MORNING!

-If you believe in our mission, you understand why we must go to CA. If you don't come, you obviously don't support our mission.*

-Mike basically admits that they can't do anything about the emergency act.

-So we're going to CA.

-BUT WE'RE COMING BACK!

-It's OK if you can't come to DC. You've made sacrifices. But you rely should sacrifice more.*

-Hopefully more will come with us back to DC.

-It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. It's about waking people up!

-COMMUNISM!!

-If we don't go to CA, everything we've done here is meaningless.*

-A member of the audience loudly shouts "Is everyone OK with this?"

Mike ignores the interruption.

-Lots of talking in the audience. I can't hear it well, but it's obvious that many in the convoy are pissed about leaving DC.

-Couple from CA got here yesterday but they're going to turn right back around and go to CA with us!! We're that important!

-We aren't running away! We'll be back.

-Question from the group: What do we do if we want to stay here?

-Answer: you can't. We had to get leave here anyway.

-No more official convoy drives to DC. But if some of y'all want to convoy, give 'em hell!

-Question from the audience; where will we stay when we come back?

Answer: I don't know yet. But we've been looking at a few places!

-Question from the audience: What's the end game in CA?

Answer: To keep bills from passing.

Comment from the audience: the bills will pass anyway!

Mike: Ya, but how are ya going to feel if you didn't try to stop them from passing?!*

-Arguing amongst the audience. I think it's about how many will actually go to CA.

Mike: If we stop one bill it's worth it. We're trying to wake people up!

-Audience sounds unhappy

-If we can wake up as many people as are here (meeting) it will be worth it.

-This is a fluid situation, people!!

,I don't know how many of y'all are coming to CA, but I'm going!!

-Question from the audience: Will there be $ to keep those who can't afford to go?

Answer: We'll pay for fuel. But that's it.

Question from the audience: How long will we be in CA?

Answer: We'll be in CA for at least 3 weeks, minimum.

Mike continues: They hope to be staying at the speedway when they come back to MD. But it's a fluid situation!

-Let's send postcards to DC politicians. They HATE that kind of things.

-Another convoy is about to arrive. In MD. They've been on the road a few days.

-Question from the audience: Can we keep a home camp here for when people return.

Answer: No.

Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.

*= Gaslighting

Most members sound quite unhappy about going to DC. Members have lost a lot of income to be in DC. They've spent their savings to be there. And they know the convoy is out of money.
