What a bunch of little baby snowflakes these "truckers" have turned out to be. I hope they end up in jail for crap like this.
Zachary Petrizzo @ZTPetrizzo wrote: The Daily Beast has obtained exclusive footage of the March 16th incident on the 14th St. bridge, where after a biker flipped off a truck driver with The People’s Convoy, the biker's head was slammed into the ground -- following truckers allegedly stealing his bike keys.

I think the big guy with the long beard standing over the entire event is Santa. He's a Proud Boy.

Zachary is correct. This is not a peaceful group.

No convoy this weekend. There is an anti-vax event tomorrow from 3-6 and a band is performing on Sun.

Group has hired a lawyer! They're going to sue DC Metro Plice because of blocked exits and in city "harassment" by police.
:snippity:
The entire encampmenthas to vacate the part of the speedway it has occupied since March 3 to make way for Saturday’s first race of the season, and it must leave the facility entirely by April 7, speedway General Manager Lisa Plessinger said Wednesday.
:snippity:

“We’re going to stay here until we find a spot that’s suitable for us that we can all agree on,” he said in a Wednesday interview with The Herald-Mail, adding that the group was considering locations in Virginia that would have easy access to the Capital Beltway.

Nothing had been decided Wednesday, and there was no mention of a move to another location during Friday morning’s livestreamed meeting of convoy participants.

Landis said the group plans to continue its rolling protests into the Washington, D.C., area “until the mission is accomplished” to end the COVID-19 state of emergency declared under the National Emergencies Act in March 2020 by President Donald Trump and extended most recently by President Joe Biden on Feb 18.
:snippity:

He and Landis stated that convoy participants come from all belief systems and walks of life, including Biden supporters and people who are vaccinated and wearing masks.
:snippity:

Participants state they are committed to their cause.

Brase and Landis said one man quit his job and cashed in his 401(k) to stay with the convoy. Others, such as owner-operator truckers, are tapping into their savings to meet personal expenses such as truck and mortgage payments while they're with the convoy and not working.

"Freedom takes sacrifice," Brase said. "It doesn't have to be the blood of patriots to water the tree."
:snippity:

The convoy must vacate entirely by April 7, Plessinger said, so the speedway staff has time to prepare for when the entire 56-acre facility is needed for the Lucas Oil Late Models race scheduled for April 9.

Plessinger said earlier that she wasn't charging the convoy rent, and was only being reimbursed for expenses such as gravel to fill potholes in the main parking area caused by the constant movement of vehicles.
:snippity:
I didn't know that the convoy is camping rent-free.

The convoy runs out of money next week. They've been camping rent free.

A second location won't be needed.

Eh, depends on how expensive refilling the potholes is. Gravel can be expensive.

Regardless, everyone will agree to stage their protests "from a secret location" that no-one will ever find.

I wonder if they're gonna ask the police to set up a green corridor when they flee from the speedway. To protect from the straight bird fingers and whatnot

How's that going to work when the General Manager of the property has told them they need to leave by April 7?

And...'that we can all agree on'? As if that's every going to happen.

New plan!

The convoy is going to get a Repub in the house to use a discharge petition to force a house vote on the recently approved senate bill to end Biden's emergency declaration. The repubs would need 218 votes to force a vote on the floor (8 dems would have to sign the petition). For a bill that won't survive a house floor vote. A bill that Biden has promised to veto.

This photo is of today's antivax rally crowd. That is the convoy AND visitors.

The convoy started out with approx 2,000 people. It must under 100 people now.

Around a campfire tonight, People's Convoy organizer Brian Brase, under the impression he was not on camera, said he would have stormed the Capitol building on Jan 6 if he wasn't trucking: "I would have been inside that Capitol building...you bet your a** I would have went in!"

People's Convoy organizer Brian Brase said this morning he will be leaving Hagerstown again for many days as the group continues to splinter. "I am not running away," he tries to reassure the crowd.
Will he be back before the money runs out?

Brian likes to drink. He talks too much when he drinks. Sometimes he says too much when he drinks.

I believe Brian. Thankfully, he said too much.

Another main livestreamer went home yesterday.

Brian Brase ought to be happy that he is now (still) a free man and not under investigation or already having a prison term to follow

Brandon Jackson is being held without bail ... for a misdemeanor. He was arrested for having a loaded gun on his person.

Brian lives in Ohio. He's going to go see his daughters and "pull a load or two".

Things went to crap when he left for 3 days (returned last Tues).

Coincidence?

-Money very likely runs out this week. Donations to the group have stopped completely. Livestreamers get donations in their livestream chats, but they don't share that money with the group. Even if every livestreamer shared their donations, it wouldn't be enough money to pay for a single day of gas for the convoy.

-The convoy still has no place to move to on April 6. They're paying no rent at the Hagerstown Speedway. They won't have a rent-free location as of April 6.

-Frequently promised reinforcements keep failing to show up.

But Brian will be back.

I've got a few millions quatloos that says that the few that are left on April 6, refuse to leave.
