Do you think the three UCLA Basketball Players will say thank you President Trump? They were headed for 10 years in jail!
16:11 - 15 Nov 2017
Had to look up the background:
Once-detained UCLA basketball players return from China

Obviously plain shoplifters, not that they would have gotten 10 yrs in a China camp. Charges reduced then kicked out of China.

At gun point? Nobody in his staff has ever found an internet connection to a Faux News livestream :?:
(a) he probably wouldn't understand how to work it as he does not know how to use a computer, and (b) they were probably thanking God that he wasn't able to watch FOX, so they could get some peace from the ideas Fox were planting in his head. And of course (c) he watches CNN incessantly anyway and rages when he isn't on the screen. He is the vainest narcissist on earth, of course he watches CNN.

Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.

Because it's literally the only foreign policy-related success he's had in his entire time as President, and he thought it would mean universal admiration and an almost-10-point jump in the polls.

Damn. That sounds like a threat, tinged with sarcasm, if they don't say thank you to trump.

All three of them did thank him (in a press conference) before this latest tweet. This was Trump trying to be magnanimous in an effort to keep this story in the headlines.

It's highly unlikely they would've actually gone to jail for something so petty; jailing foreign nationals is always an international incident, and is it worth it for a couple of pairs of sunglasses? Worst case scenario they would've cooled their heels for a day or so in jail until their families paid a fee, and then they would've been deported. I don't think Trump's interference made an iota of difference here.

In return China got the Voice of America to kick out three reporters who interviewed a Chinese dissident. So much winning!

Yeah, that's about what I expected.

Making America great again, one bad deal at a time.

I, for one, am just so glad that we have a POTUS with an absolutely impeccable record when it comes to women's issues, and especially sexual assault.
