Rachel Maddow is terrified of debating Madison Cawthorn.
They know they can’t win when faced with conservative ideas, so they have to keep their sad echo chamber going.

Oh yeah, baby. Maddow is terrified of a college dropout moron, you betcha!

I think she can handle him. Look at what CNN's Pamela Brown did with him last year. That was good, and he was so dense he didn't realize she chewed him up and spit him out.

Oh good grief, why would Maddow lower herself to debate Cawthorn? He has all the intelligence of a brass doorknob, but without the shine.
It has all the hallmarks of tfg's protestations that no one will debate him, well, yer irrelevant and a maroon to boot!

This is MTQ trying to get AOC to debate her last year.
No point in debating with bullies who do nothing but lie.

Lucky for them then that they would not have to face any actual conservative ideas from the Rump Gang. Actual conservative ideas and thought is now limited to those the Trumptards call RINOs.booboo wrote:They know they can’t win when faced with conservative ideas...

Sez the person who has introduced [checks notes] seventeen bills that have all become law. Sorry, I meant to say that have passed out of committee. Oh wait... You mean such hits as the "We’re Not Paying You To Break Our Laws Act" and the "Stop AOC Act" haven't gone anywhere?
Seventeen strikes and yer out, Boebert.

Rep. Lauren Boebert left a group of Jewish visitors to the Capitol bewildered Thursday morning when she asked them if they were doing "reconnaissance" after seeing them at an elevator at the Capitol.
Members of the group, which was meeting with Rep. Tom Suozzi, were wearing yarmulkes, and the person coordinating the group is Orthodox, with a traditional beard.
One witness said the group, along with other members of Congress, was waiting for an elevator. When the doors opened, Boebert stepped out of the elevator and looked the group of visitors “from head to toe,” the witness said. Boebert then asked if they were there to conduct “reconnaissance.”
“When I heard that, I actually turned to the person standing next to me and asked, ‘Did you just hear that?’” a rabbi who was with the group told BuzzFeed News.

Her so-called explanation: “I’m too short to see anyone’s yarmulkes.”
She thought they were Islamic, so it's OK.

I don't have to worry about her becoming more embarrassing, as she will strive to outdo herself as long as she is there. On the other hand, she is too stupid to really do any serious harm, I hope, to anyone but herself. If she cooks like she legislates she is a danger to all her customers.
Re: Lauren Boebert - Rootin’ Tootin’ Shootin’ Lauren Opal Boebert née Roberts
I hear you on the "serious harm" point, but feel that she is one cancer cell among thousands, and together they are killing us.
Also, what a vicious little shit she is (need to say that every month or so, just 'cause).

Lauren's solution to being cast as anti-Semitic is to pose with lots of beer.
Actually, I don't know the context for the picture.

Definitely not my favorite. Yesterday I had my first Hopslam of the season (from Bell's Brewery). It only comes out in January and can be a little tough to get some years. They must have made more this year.

Q) Why is Coors beer like having sex in a canoe?
A) They are both f*cking near water.

Many great comments on that thread and a reminder that the Coors organization has leaned hard right for generations.

Back in the early seventies, you couldn't get Coors east of the Mississippi. A big news story at the time was that Henry Kissinger, then Secretary of State, had an Air Force transport plane fly a couple of cases of the stuff to him in Washington.
My then-girlfriend-now-wife was planning a visit to California to see some cousins. I asked her to bring me a sixpack of Coors.
The stuff was/is awful. They claim it is made with "Rocky Mountain spring water". I would argue that it IS Rocky Mountain spring water. If you started with a decent beer and diluted it 20:1, it would still be better than Coors.
