I am seriously worried about ZekeB. I sent him email, no reply. I only know his first name. I know he lives in Iowa, no idea which town (there are many, many towns in Iowa). I don't have a phone number. I'm skunked.

IIRC, he visited Mimi on a trip once, and possibly BB. Can someone with Twitter ask Mimi if she has any contact info? I’ll ask BB next time I’m on FB.
He popped in on Sept 11 but quietly.
I’m terribly afraid its something to do with his wife. No reason, just intuition.

Where the heck is zeke?
I’m a mess traveling to Florida right now and my phone is giving me lots of trouble. I’ll check in here tomorrow when I get to Florida. Hopefully the internet is working there.
ZEKE! Where are you?

Re: Hijack This Thread
On Fogbow mark 1, it took me 10 years to hit 10,000 posts and I was always way down the line for the number of posts. I just looked and I am #5 and already have some 1,600+ posts. WTF.
I did start slow in the earl birther heyday. I tended to comment more on Doc Conspiracy's place at the time (and Patrick's and NBC's etc).

Then they better step up and get stuff done instead of assuming that a woman will be their unpaid housekeeper/laundry maid/shopper/cook/sex partner on demand.

Re: Hijack This Thread
Oh, no's, I see split ends parallel fifths and fourths. That was a naughty in my college theory classes (until it was not in composition, except when it was). Now I don't recall any rule against parallel diminished fifths, so he's all good there.
Some of Ives pieces I have played in the past were likely responsible for causing diminished fifths after the performance and might have been easier to do if I had been diminishing fifths of rum, gin, bourbon, tequila, whatever during the rehearsal and performance. It is not often where the choir is specifically told to not listen at all to the other choir or the brass ensemble. That's the fun of each group being in a different key and different meter and different tempo.
I once, for reasons that escape me, started a hymn by playing each hand in a different key and the feet, well who knows what was going on there. I suspect Charles Ives had taken over my body and was playing his version of the hymn.

That's why men give a woman a diamond for an engagement ring, unmarried women tend to live longer that married women. The guy is just saying "Here honey, this is the payment for the several years I'm gonna steal from you for myself"...
Where's that door at again....?

A couple of weeks ago, Jim (the SO) and I watched the Soviet produced film of King Lear (1971). Subtitled of course, I don't speak Russian. It was quite well done and nicely shot. I had forgotten how depressing King Lear was though.
