In short, what Pulitzer proposes is a new form of high-tech forensic analysis which can be a vital empirical tool for objectively determining the route a ballot paper took from being printed, sent to the voter, handled by the voter, returned by mail, processed by ballot handlers and counted by a Dominion voting machine. What more can anyone ask in determining the truth?

In the case of the Cyber Nutjobs, the ability to count accurately: 1, 2, 3, …,1,040,772, 1,040,773, 1,040,774, yes, that's a lot of votes for Biden.

I know I am a bit of a broken record on this.. but I suspect someone hired a student who was really exited about machine learning and now they think they can find anything if they throw enough data at it... or maybe just a little data with a bunch of transforms. so take maybe half a dozen ballots that you have manhandled, a dozen that you have not, and poof, you have a detection algorithm!

Late to the party, I was out looking for hickory trees. I don’t think they grow here.

I'm a botanist. Love hickory tress. There were many different species where I grew up in SE Ohio. None here in California. Here is a map of the distribution of hickories in the US. The genus Carya is found in the bright green counties. I wrote the software for BONAP that produced this map.

Sorry, your map is wrong. You know that one tree you found in Mohave County at the bottom of the Grand Canyon? I cut it down last year.

You may be right but no matter who they have do whatever, they ruined useful results (real-word useful, not sell it to the RWNJ useful). If you look at it in say, a DMAIC cycle:

Define
Measure
Analyze
Improve
Control

They happily skip right over Define so do not know the process and what it is to achieve at any given point. Thus, their Definition is based on the Measure step, which of course, dooms the entire cycle. The intentional ignoring of the as-is process shows they are either 1) not serious or 2) clueless in understanding a business process. At that point, everything else will fail.

Disclaimer, my Six Sigma knowledge is very limited though I have had some experience working on Business Processes but am not officially trained with all of the current buzzwords.

See, I suspect they are not even bothering with process or following a proper workflow/cycle. A lot of the stuff I see popping up reminds me of student projects where they just start with as much data as they can obtain or mutate, fabricate a target set, and pump it all through some black box and then speak confidently about the results.

Which I think is a bit of an industry wide problem right now, not just a RWNJ thing. Any place where personal brand is more important than verifiable results, you get this basic pattern. One of the issues is that a lot of the results are unexplainable and there is no process for validating them (since the conclusion contaminates the data), having people believe you were right or wrong becomes more an factor of confidence/brand/charisma/charts than anything else.

Things like process and Sigma Six only really come in when you want verification and something that can be analyzed, which is the exact opposite of what keeps this community alive ^_^. Unfortunately, this mindset has found its way into industries that thrive on this ambiguity, which is why you see so much of these systems in things like advertising, search, suggestion systems, media scheduling, and dating sites... all places that you can take credit for success and shift blame for failure in some kind of 'it would have been worse if we did not do XYZ' without any worry about formalied methods and processes contradicting you.

Now, where this is on topic.. I think this is a community that has really refined this process over the last two decades, and even teaches it at this point, and there is kinda a glut now, so there is a generation of consultants trying to find new niches where this can be applied, and the RWNJ data grinder is a pretty fertile field with lots of audience & money but not as much competition.

Bennet is an interesting study.

i believe that he has training as a CPA,

1) i think he recognized many of the QA/QC issues and procedural flaws early on.

2) when he tried to point out those flaws, they not only ignored him, but tried to freeze him out. I think he found their dismissive attitude towards him to be highly offensive. That's why he went public at the time.

This is his pay back.
