I only did a quick search but the only record I could find of Elmo going to the Turnip white house was when he was one of a dozen leaders leaders to Attend a meeting at the whitehose in the first week of the Turnip term. And Turnip only stayed 10 minutes.

Elmo was saying "Bad things" about turnip in 2022, so REVENGE is on his mind.

“Now, you heard the shots. You saw the blood. We all feared the worst. But you knew everything would be okay when President Trump raised his fists high in the air and shouted, ‘fight, fight!’ Now, I believe, as sure as I’m standing here today, that what happened was a true miracle.

“And on that day, America felt the truth of scripture. So I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil, for you are with me. God still has a plan for him [Trump] just like he still has a plan for the United States of America,

“I truly believe that God saved President Trump’s life that day. And I believe that God is with us right now and watches over this incredible nation every single day.” – Sen. JD Vance, yesterday at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“To our beautiful Amish in Lancaster and across the state, we will protect your raw milk, your dairy, your farm, your school choice, your religious freedom, your ability to afford to have ten beautiful children per family!” – Homocon cultist, QAnon nutbag, and Capitol riot attendee Scott Presler, speaking at Trump’s rally yesterday in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Presler last appeared here when it was reported that he was once fired by the Virginia Republican Party for posting gay porn of himself that he allegedly filmed inside their office. That report came as anti-LGBTQ right wingers were screaming about a gay Democratic aide who had filmed himself having sex in a Senate office building hearing room.

At the height of the COVID pandemic, Presler appeared here for promoting the “empty hospitals” hoax. Presler is a former leader of the anti-Muslim hate group Act For America.

Scott Pressler made a lengthy appeal to the Amish, where 5% to 10% might vote, though 0% of them own TVS.

I wonder if that is also targeted to the folks who buy raw milk, eggs, and other farm products from the Amish. Just Googling, it looks like you can sell raw milk in Pennsylvania if you have a permit. I'm sure some farmers and customers bristle at the regulations.

Having grown up drinking "raw milk," it's delicious and does no harm, as long as you don't drink it after 24 hours. Or maybe 12, it goes sour very fast.

From the FDA -
Milk and milk products provide a wealth of nutrition benefits. But raw milk, i.e., unpasteurized milk, can harbor dangerous germs that can pose serious health risks to you and your family.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), from 1998 through 2018, there were 202 outbreaks linked to drinking raw milk These outbreaks caused 2,645 illnesses and 228 hospitalizations. CDC points out that most foodborne illnesses are not a part of recognized outbreaks, and for every illness reported, many others occur.

Raw milk is milk from cows, sheep, and goats — or any other animal — that has not been pasteurized to kill harmful germs. Raw milk can carry dangerous germs such as Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, Campylobacter, and others that cause foodborne illness, often called “food poisoning.”

These germs can seriously injure the health of anyone who drinks raw milk or eats products made from raw milk. However, the germs in raw milk can be especially dangerous to people with weakened immune systems (such as transplant patients and individuals with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and diabetes), children, older adults, and pregnant women. In fact, CDC finds that foodborne illness from raw milk especially affects children and teenagers.
There's a reason that states have regulations on the sale of raw milk. It's an industry which requires very strict sanitary rules. Not all farmers are willing to follow guidelines.

All milk is raw milk, unless it is pasteurized. People lived with those bacteria for centuries until the birth of Louis Pasteur. We used to be immune to the stuff, and Suranis is right, the key is to drink it before the bacteria has a chance to grow exponentially after 12 hours or more of no refrigeration. Which was how it was consumed before we learned to sterilize it and distribute it to cities.

I'm an urban creature of the twentieth century, and I've never had raw milk. But I would gladly try some if I was there on the farm where the cows were.

Europeans have always had close relationships with the bacteria in and around our domestic animals. That's how we brought new diseases to the New World (and killed off most of the Native Americans before we learned anything about them).

But MN-Skeptic is totally correct - the problem is not the raw milk itself, it's the farmers who won't follow the guidelines. If you follow the guidelines, raw milk shouldn't be a problem. However, I don't have access to any farmers I trust. I'll stick with the pasteurized stuff.
I'm Foggy and I forget if I approved this message.

Ya, you aren't going to have safe "Raw Milk" on a supermarket shelf. The time it tales to distribute makes that highly dangerous.

It's more or less one of the perks of living on a Farm, kids.

I too grew up on a farm and drank raw milk and only raw milk from cows. And we separated out the cream and made our own butter from the same milk.

Reading these posts I was trying to remember when began drinking pasteurized milk and store-bought butter. I believe it was in school, but it cost an extra 5 cents to get milk with my school lunch meal, and that wasn't possible very often. Best I can remember, we moved off the farm and just outside of town when I was 16, and that's when I know we began drinking pasteurized milk on a regular basis. Cuz we wazn't going to drive 22 miles back to the farm just to milk the cows.

Off Topic
For me, raw milk was part of growing up on the family ranch. My Dad made extra money by selling cream from three milk cows. He milked them morning and night. I remember sitting on his lap while he turned the cream separator on the back porch. After he was done, my mother would boil all the pieces parts of the separator. Dad would haul the cream in five gallon cream cans to town and drop them off at the railroad station for the overnight trip to eastern Nebraska. My Grandfather did the same and he fed the curdled milk to a hog that he kept for slaughter. He thought that the bacon and salt pork at the store was too expensive.

Our raw milk was always fresh, but it was skim milk. I enjoyed the whole, pasteurized and homogenized milk in 1/2 pint milk cartons during morning recess. The other thing about raw milk is that it is the best in Spring and early Summer when there is abundant fresh green grass. If you've ever drank milk from a cow that spent time in a weed patch, you know what I mean. :vomit:

Nowdays, I'm spoiled with Maple Hill's grassfed ultra-pasteurized 2% milk for my cereal and cappuccinos.

Trump: They stole the FEMA money like they stole it from a bank so they could give it to their illegal immigrants that they want to have vote for them this season.

Are the MAGAts really that stupid to think that illegal immigrants can vote in the US, faster than Green Card holders get citizenship :brickwallsmall: :brickwallsmall: :brickwallsmall:
Yes, of course they are. Don't you know that the only reason that Trump lost the 2020 election was that millions and millions of non-citizens voted for Biden?

Schmuck also works in this country but it is considered an obscenity by some Jews.
