Modern cities and flying cars might sound like the makings of an episode of the 1960s cartoon The Jetsons, where a fictionalized family flew around in Orbit City.

For former President Donald Trump, however, it’s the foundation of a new set of futuristic policy proposals.


In a video set to be released on Friday, Trump will call for a “quantum leap” in the American standard of living.


Trump’s plan, shared in advance with POLITICO, calls for holding a contest to design and create up to ten new “Freedom Cities,” built from the ground up on federal land. It proposes an investment in the development of vertical-takeoff-and-landing vehicles; the creation of “hives of industry” sparked by cutting off imports from China; and a population surge sparked by “baby bonuses” to encourage would-be-parents to get on with procreation. It is all, his team says, part of a larger nationwide beautification campaign meant to inspire forward-looking visions of America’s future.

On Wednesday’s edition of “CNN Newsroom with Jim Acosta,” Lewandowski botched Kamala Harris’ name, a habit that Trump and others on the right have also picked up.

Lewandowski pronounced the name “Ka-MA-luh,” with a heavy emphasis on the second syllable, much to the frustration of the show’s host.

“Corey, you’ve been in this business a long time. I think you’re a mature grown-up,” Acosta said. “It’s Kamala Harris. Can you say Kamala? Or you cannot say Kamala? What’s going on there?”

Donald Trump held a sad little hate rally today in Saginaw, Michigan.

Let’s recap it:

He had a tiny crowd and he was clearly big mad about it.

He starts off by telling people that early voting is open in MI. Him and MAGA have spent years saying that people shouldn’t be allowed to vote early. Beyond parody.

He seems to think Tim Walz is running for president. He really doesn’t know who he’s running against since Biden dropped out of the race.

He’s slurry and his lisp is fierce. He can’t say the letter “s.”

He had issues saying “understand,” “car,” “industries,” “athlete,” “Harris,” “capital,” “tariffs,” “excuse,” “McDonalds,” “your,” “many,” and “he.” He has mashed potatoes for brains.

He’s slurring entire sentences to where I can’t even understand what he’s even trying to say.

He called VP Harris “Hamala” and “Komra.”

He called COVID the “China virus.”

He lies about the number of people in Springfield, Ohio again. He also calls these people “illegals” when most of them claimed temporary protected status when HE was in office under a program that was in place.

He says it’s been the worst 4 years because of “the lack of respect.” Did he think people respected him when he was in office? I’m pretty sure he’s making this all about his grievances.

I think he just called himself “Donna J. Trump.” I howled.

He says “you’re a border state now.” Michigan has been a border state with Canada for a lonnnnnnng time, bro. JFC.

He’s lying and saying that Democrats have raised the retirement age 5 or 6 years. We haven’t. Republicans are the ones who want to raise it along with his Project 2025 who wants to get rid of Social Security entirely.

He’s talking about waves hitting him in the face. I’d pay a lot of money to watch Donald Trump swim and try to boogie board. That would be hilarious!

He’s whining about President Biden. He really doesn’t know who he’s running against anymore.

He claims he won the 2020 election and called it “a rigged election.” He’ll never admit if he loses again. We need to be prepared.

He claims nobody can fill up a room like he can. The room is half empty. Many seats are empty and there’s video to prove it.

He lied and said that 60k people showed up to his last rally and blamed Biden that his venue could only hold 900 people.

He claims VP Harris “destroyed San Francisco” but he donated to her campaign. Twice.

He’s claiming our allies in Europe are sending Russia “billions of dollars a month” while saying “they’re not paying their bills. They’re delinquent.” Bro is mental.

He’s whining about president Biden in a bathing suit again. He’s super weirdly fixated on this lately. I’d promptly vomit if I saw Donald in a Speedo.

He says that Biden falls asleep in front of the media. Bro fell asleep in court.

He repeats praise of himself from Viktor Orban.

He’s lying about the auto industry where he lost countless jobs.

He keeps lying about VP Harris and taxes.

He proves he doesn’t know how wind energy is stored and how batteries work by saying the tv won’t work if it’s not windy outside. Pathetic that anyone thinks this man is smart.

He keeps claiming he’s gonna cut people’s utility bills in half. He has zero ability to do this.

He’s babbling about electricity and he doesn’t even know how it works.

He’s talking about getting environmental impact statements “immediately.” If he’s elected, this man will physically destroy our country.

He tried to explain what “rare earth” minerals are and he failed miserably.

He’s bragging about wanting to get rid of the Department of Education. Keeping MAGA uneducated is the only way Republicans can win at anything.

He’s trying to take credit for Biden and FEMA sending Starlink terminals to the areas hit by Hurricane Helene. FEMA put out a statement talking about it well before Donald even mentioned the word “Starlink” or talked to Elon Musk. Shameful.

He called it “the AI” again. I snort laughed.

He doesn’t know whether or not AI is good or bad. Seems like something the man who’s running for POTUS should understand the answer to, but alas he’s a moron.

He brags about not paying people overtime and hiring other people to work regular hours instead. This man doesn’t care about workers. He’s hired illegal immigrants, he’s paid them less than minimum wage, and he hates unions.

He called the press in the room “sick” and the crowd booed. Mighty rich coming from the guy who babbles about Hannibal Lecter (sadly he hasn’t mentioned his bestie in a month, I miss that part a bit).

He said that Jimmy Carter is the happiest man and then he immediately pointed out that his wife of many decades recently died. Shameful.

He called Melania a “great First Lady.” I gagged.

He claims he’ll get the longshoreman port strike over “very quickly.” Yeah, because he’s in on it.

He keeps claiming that Biden and Harris are siphoning FEMA money for hurricanes to give to migrants and immigrants. The SSP program gives grants to shelters to house migrants and immigrants. That funding was FUNDED BY CONGRESS!!!! It's also separate from FEMA's disaster funds for hurricanes which Republicans keep voting against giving more funding to. Shameless liar!

He’s fear mongering about immigrants and migrants again, and lying about the amount of people who were let in by every administration, including his own, for the past 40 years and trying to blame it all on Harris.

He’s lying saying that democrats are registering illegal immigrants to vote. It’s illegal for them to vote in federal elections.

He said he had the “best four years with hurricanes.” Folks who went through hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, Michael, Dorian, Isaias, Laura, Delta, and Zeta would disagree with that. I can't even with this guy today. He's just so full of it.

He admits that border crossings are “better” now that Biden passed his executive order. He immediately lies and says that Biden and Harris are flying “hundreds of thousands” of people in. Not true.

He’s crying about drug dealers but he wants to pardon Ross Ulbricht, the creator of Silk Road, where countless drugs were sold. Spare me.

He’s again whining about the immigration app that HIS ADMINISTRATION CREATED. FFS.

He says criminals are going to kill us in restaurants because “they’re wired that way.”

He brings up Senate candidate Mike Rogers who’s under allegations of fraud and apparently lives in Florida, not Michigan.

Mike Rogers is almost as slurry and weird as Donald.

He tells Donald that he’s “killing it in the middle schools.” UHHHHH. Creepy AF.

In the middle of calling VP Harris “crazy,” he says a bunch of letters that do not make up actual words. Bro is cooked.

He’s lying about 325,000 kids being “sex slaves,” raped, and dead. Vile.

He’s crying that his teleprompter went out. I thought he never uses one? I snort laughed really hard at this.

He fails to say VP Kamala Harris’ name properly calling her Komra, and botches saying McDonalds too. This is elder abuse. I swear he just talks about McDonalds because he owns $100-250k of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he bought more after he started ranting about it.

By the way, wasn’t he supposed to go work the fries at McDonalds? Another false promise from that man.
