Mark Robinson is an unperson now.

The quadfectee made no mention of the guy he said is better than Martin Luther King, Jr., in Wilmington yesterday. He has disappeared completely, and nobody will ever see him again.

The Washington Post had a great pro-Robinson headline yesterday - Online User Linked to Robinson Also Liked Mein Kampf. See that? Some rando online is somehow "linked" to Mark and was using his name and email address, but we don't know it was him for certain! I left a juicy comment about it being cheaper and better to write a disinformational headline than to pay someone to investigate the clues CNN GAVE YOU FOR FREE.

So that's the future of the rest of the governor's race in North Carolina. Robinson will be on the ballot, but he has functionally disappeared and become an unperson. No venue in the state will have him. No reporter will be interested in his views on any issues besides his insanebrain. News media will only question him about minisldr.

And MAGAts will politely never mention him again, unless confronted, in which case they'll tell you he denied everything, and it's a private matter.

Can you imagine the protest signs we could make? Anywhere he goes is gonna be ugly. Stick a fork in him, he's all done.

Four top operatives on Republican Mark Robinson’s campaign for North Carolina governor have stepped down, the campaign announced on Sunday, days after a CNN report uncovered inflammatory comments he made on a porn website.

General consultant and senior adviser Conrad Pogorzelski III, campaign manager Chris Rodriguez, finance director Heather Whillier and deputy campaign manager Jason Rizk have stepped down from the campaign.

The announcement from Robinson’s campaign comes in the aftermath of a CNN report uncovering inflammatory comments the lieutenant governor and Republican nominee for governor made on a pornography website message board over a decade ago. The lewd comments included Robinson describing himself as a “black Nazi” and how he used to go “peeping” on women at a public gym when he was 14 years old.

Why didn't the Democrats in NC do the investigation? Why did it take CNN to tell us who the fuck Mark Robinson is?

And have they learned a lesson? Are they investigating ALL the fucking Republicans running for office in this state?

No, I guarantee they are doing no such thing. As a long time volunteer, I can tell you exactly what the Democratic Party is doing. Nothing. They're enjoying the show, maybe having a few meetings, but they're not doing a goddamned thing, and they never will.

Staff of Nude Africa Porn Site Quit to Distance Selves from Mark Robinson

NORTH CAROLINA—In an official statement released on Tuesday, the entire staff of the pornographic website Nude Africa has resigned in order to distance themselves from Lt. Governor Mark Robinson.

“We have long been proud of our association with Nude Africa,” the statement read. “Unfortunately, Mr. Robinson’s posts on the website have tarnished Nude Africa’s good name.”

In order to “restore the stellar reputation of Nude Africa,” the ex-staffers urged the porn site’s proprietors to “demand that Mr. Robinson drop out as a commenter on Nude Africa’s message boards at once.”

Asked about the controversy, Sen. JD Vance said, “Before I comment, I need to spend a few more days looking at Nude Africa.”

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson was treated for second-degree burns Friday after he burned his hand on a “big rig” he was riding in at the Mayberry Truck Show and Parade in Mount Airy, he told supporters at a Saturday campaign event.

“I was getting out of the truck and several of my fans and supporters were coming around the truck. I was trying to get out without running into them and doggone if I didn’t lay my hand on that tailpipe, the exhaust pipe,” Robinson said, showing his bandaged hand. “I am fine. It is just a minor second-degree burn, and it is just fine.”

Mike Lonergan, Robinson’s gubernatorial campaign communications director, said Friday night Robinson was treated for the burns at Northern Regional Hospital “following an incident at a campaign event.”

Lonergan added in the statement that Robinson “is in good spirits, appreciates the outpouring of well wishes, and is excited to return to the campaign trail as scheduled first thing tomorrow morning.”

Robinson, North Carolina’s Republican nominee for governor, had made several campaign stops around the state on Friday, according to a previously provided schedule and social media posts. His final stop was the Mayberry Truck Show and Parade in Mount Airy, where the incident occurred.

NewsNation was first to report his hospitalization, which a source close to his campaign confirmed to CNN earlier Friday night.

It snows in the mountains, which is where the storm hit. There's even a ski mountain up there. it's about 20 mintues from my house up there. The road to get there is steep and twisty and scares the heck out of me driving up there. In the winter it can get icy, too. I've been wondering how the houses on that road have fared. There's just the one road in/out.

Mark Robinson sues CNN over report he wrote racist posts on porn website

Mark Robinson, North Carolina’s lieutenant governor, announced a lawsuit Tuesday against CNN over its recent report alleging he made explicit racial and sexual posts on a pornography website’s message board, calling the reporting reckless and defamatory.

The lawsuit, filed in Wake county superior court, comes less than four weeks after a television report that led many fellow GOP elected officials and candidates, including Donald Trump, to distance themselves from Robinson’s gubernatorial campaign. Robinson announced the lawsuit at a news conference in Raleigh.

CNN “chose to publish despite knowing or recklessly disregarding that Robinson’s data – including his name, date of birth, passwords, and the email address supposedly associated with the NudeAfrica account – were previously compromised by multiple data breaches”, the lawsuit states.

CNN declined to comment, spokesperson Emily Kuhn said in an email.

Polls at the time of the CNN report already showed Democratic rival Josh Stein, the sitting attorney general, with a lead over Robinson. Early in-person voting begins Thursday statewide, and well over 50,000 completed absentee ballots have been received so far.

The CNN report said Robinson left statements over a decade ago on the message board in which, in part, he referred to himself as a “black NAZI”, said he enjoyed transgender pornography, said that he preferred Hitler to Barack Obama, and slammed the Rev Martin Luther King Jr as “worse than a maggot”.

No link to the complaint, but I'm sure it'll be hard for him to prove that CNN was reckless. Also sounds like a novel theory: CNN damaged him by mentioning the name of the site he wrote his stuff on, and all his details were already floating around there because of multiple prior data breaches. I wonder what Mike Dunford would have to say about that.
