At his next "town hall" somebody needs to ask the question about his opinion on NAFTA 2.0 (the one that he forced upon his neighbours

I am sure there is a provision that inhibits further tariffs on the trade between Mexico, Canada and the US.

IFF there is a provision to protect an industry, once the factory has left the US there is nothing to protect any longer.

Yeah, USMCA was his trade " achievement." Which, afaik, was not much different from NAFTA, but he wanted his own agreement. There is indeed a provision that prohibits tariffs on NA trade. But if he hits China with a zillion percent tariff, it will blow the price of parts sky high. And the tractors made in Mexico will shoot up in price. So - same effect.
