Okay, I read the CNN story. Yes, they did in fact bring the receipts. He can deny all day long. Anyone living in or near a fact-based reality will understand, this is him.

And of course, CNN explicitly said it's not publishing everything, because it's too awful. So there are gonna be eleventy dozen other news outlets pursuing the allegations. The truth must emerge.

And the allegations are so bad that his only possible defense - which isn't really possible and isn't going to work - is to say "That's not me" and "I'm the victim of a frameup."

It was him. Josh Stein doesn't really have the ability to edit stuff written in forums fourteen years ago.

I love that North Carolina is the center of the national conversation.
I love that another MAGAt is under the spotlight for being weird and scary.
I love that Mark Robinson is busted.
But most of all, I love that the story is about posting on an online forum.

That'll keep me from running for office. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Now, we can hope the vote gets out and the down-ballot magas like the DoE candidate also get folded, bent and mutilated.

Oh no, John, in my administration you'll be the Secretary of Sportsball Pick'ems. You people have no idea how much time and effort he puts into keeping us sportsball nutcases entertained. He's been super-accurate for more than a dozen years.

:notworthy:

In my administration he'll have a staff to do the hard work. A paid staff, I'm not purchasing any Earthlings even if Mark Robinson gets elected.

Which administration am I yammering about this time?

Anybody remember the District Court of Bun-Dogs and the Circuit Court of Yahooville? :oldman:

No, wait ...

Hadn't thought of that, but I hope it happens. Unfortunately, this doesn't affect Vance much, and while it should rock the quadfectee on his heels, it won't. I suspect that Robinson will become a nonperson in TrumpCircus productions.

We'll see on Saturday in Wilmington. I suspect the quadfectee will not so much as mention the name Mark Robinson. 'Course, my preference is that he tells everyone he's still a yuge supporter and everyone should vote for Robinson. Kiss his ass and tell him you love him, Mark, and swear that wasn't you. :batting:

Ol' Wifehorn - the floodgates are open and new stuff to destroy Robinson and support the Communist Dangerous Liberal Joo Josh Stein is pouring out.

Unfortunately, the vote this year is going to tell us something about anti-semitism in the Old North State.

I'd prefer he didn't. They might put in someone who has a chance of winning. Right now, the Dem is way ahead, if my memory hasn't failed me once again.

No, that's right, it's like 51-37 with 11% undecided (we have some slow thinkers, but I have faith in their ability to reach an indecision).

Stein has a lot of sheriffs and law enforcement on his side. He's been AG for many years, and has built the relationships, just like Cooper before him. AG is a good path for Democrats.

So the quadfectee campaign responded to an inquiry by a local Tee Vee channel that asked about Robinson.

The response didn't mention Mark Robinson.
Asked Thursday whether Trump was still endorsing Robinson, the former president's campaign sent WRAL a statement that didn't mention Robinson.

"President Trump’s campaign is focused on winning the White House and saving this country," Karoline Leavitt, a Trump campaign spokeswoman. "North Carolina is a vital part of that plan. We are confident that as voters compare the Trump record of a strong economy, low inflation, a secure border, and safe streets, with the failures of Biden-Harris, then President Trump will win the Tar Heel State once again. We will not take our eye off the ball.”
He's an unperson. Instantly.

Trump has a rally day after tomorrow in North Carolina, and he isn't going to mention Mark Robinson even once.

Poor Mark, he isn't even there anymore! :o

Ya know, even if this mutt and the magas on the NC ballot get sent packing, nothing's going to actually change.

We're gerrymandered in such a way that the magas get to keep the NC SCROTUS and state house so any Dems voted into the governor's office, AG, etc, will remain mostly ineffective.

Anyway, today was an important day in the history of the Old North State, and CNN did an awesome job of backing up the story, and Robinson is already a nonperson in TrumpCircus (I would call it TrumpWorld, but really).

Robinson was already behind, but who can vote for "a black NAZI!!" who wants to buy a couple slaves?

I mean, completely aside from the sex stuff, this is bad. Very bad. Very very very very bad, and that's not even including Ashley Madison. His wife will be thrilled.

True dat. Baby steps.

Now there's a race to dig up more dirt. Trump has abandoned him like roadkill. It's a glorious day in September!

Cheering for Jeff Jackson to get AG. Very engaged with people outside of politics and doesn't care to much for magas without engaging in their tactics.

Mark Robinson is in a massive sex scandal, and appears to be a Porn-Again Christian. His political career is over.

I'm still waiting for Robinson to have looked over at his wife during his abortion video and say honey, if you would have kept your skirt down, we would not have had to have an abortion

So he looked at a bit of smut on the internet. That pales compared to what Trump has done. Oh well.

And...the hits just keep on coming...

Email address belonging to Mark Robinson found on Ashley Madison
An adviser to the North Carolina Republican confirmed the email address belongs to him.

An email address belonging to North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson was registered on Ashley Madison, a website designed for married people seeking affairs.

An adviser to Robinson, granted anonymity to speak freely, confirmed to POLITICO that the email address in question belongs to Robinson. A spokesperson for Robinson said he had not made an account on Ashley Madison.

“Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson denies that he ever created or used an account on this website,” said Mike Lonergan, Robinson’s communications director

Robinson’s campaign also pointed to a website showing the email address in question has been compromised in multiple data breaches.

Even yesterday was too late to change the ballots, which have already been printed. But he didn't drop out (thanks, MN-Skeptic) so he is the candidate for this election. I'm actually pleased about that, they might have found someone better.

And the Harris campaign already has an ad tying Trump to Robinson.
