In two years? One thing is certain, this right wing court isn't interested in wanting the will of the people to be heard.

Do we know for sure there's even a paperwork error? Sounds like horseshit to me.
May the bridges I burn light my way.

I bet a public records request would show a number of ballot initiatives that should never have made it to the ballot under this ruling.

Wasn't double spaced. Sorry.
You stapled them instead of paper clipped. Sorry.
They weren't packed in 50 page boxes. Sorry.
The wrong weight paper was used. Sorry.
There were spelling and punctuation errors. Sorry.
The ink was too dark / too light. Sorry.
If you put a page to a mirror, demonic messages can be read. Sorry.

Other side of the argument:
Did they have a lawyer? They had a lawyer. Lawyers are trained to read tricky, arcane, unable-to-be-understood rules and tell you how to follow them without repercussions.
"You tell me the rules. I tell you how to cheat." - the lawyers' credo
So, if I understand it, they had to submit the proof of training on the same day as they submitted the signatures, which they failed to do. They may have an excellent claim against the lawyers who were supposed to be helping them, if those lawyers didn't explain what the law required, which caused a paperwork error.
I don't know if that's right. I'm not sure if they had to submit proof of the training on the same day. But a paperwork error - it seems like a monumental screwup - a good lawyer knows how to jump through all the hoops, dot the i, cross the t, and not give the state Supreme Court a chance to ruin things. Good attorneys don't make critical paperwork errors.
But on the bright side, it is clear evidence, if the women of Arkansas needed it, that they're gonna have to get out and vote. I said vote.

You and I both know, TRL, that history only moves in one direction, and that's FORWARD.
We've taken a few steps backwards, and they are not small steps. I'm never going to minimize the threat to women's health.
But we are going to overcome this religious conservative nonsense. Eventually, come Hell or high water, we're going to make abortion safe and legal again. I have faith in this.
