He didn't ignore her. He said something to her and her face immediately dropped and she scuttled off. I was trying to think of another phrase, but "Scuttled off with her tail between her legs" is the best description.

Whatever he said to her was very short, 2 short words maximum. But she went from smiling and loving to completely shut down instantly.

If he had ignored her it might have been kinder but she might have hung around before she got the message. He wanted her gone from him immediately. Probably wanted to keep the Macho godlike image going for as long as possible and getting a hug from your daughter would spoil that.

Wonder if Kellye Sorrell will be there. She just plead guilty but sentencing is in January (I think). The leaders with long sentences won't be there; I guess they'll get awards in absentia? The mom of the lady who got shot will probably get an award. I wonder if the woman from GA who got trampled and died will get an award. Hers is a pretty sad story that doesn't get told much.

Yeah, it was kind of a rhetorical question. I've never heard any MAGA talk about her at all (not that I listen to a lot of Trumpers...but you can't avoid hearing about Ashley Babbitt).

OTOH this could be a good opportunity for sedition hunters to ID some folks or the FBI to catch up with some names they've been looking for. Kind of like sending the "you've won free NFL tickets!" letter to folks to round them up for arrest when they come to claim their ticket. LOL

True, and he WILL attempt something, but I don't think his power now is anything like what it was. For one thing, people have seen how he ignored the people who "failed him" after J6. They wont be as willing to stick their necks out, and all the "IT WAS THE EFF BEE EYE!!!" conspiracies have backfired in that they have left people suspicious of his calls to come out and fight. He also has no power to stop the National Guard from responding, and I dont think Biden is feeling any restraint at this point.

So I'm convinced his direct threat is far less than it was 4 years ago.

However that does not mean that a few fanatics wouldn't try Bombs or shooting up somewhere, so caution is advised. A few people can do a lot of damage.
