What a happy, soft, cuddly creature. The kitten looks content too.

Indy's defenders remind me of playing goalie at my music camp growing up. My defenders were equally useless (in terms of actually defending, or paying attention) but unfortunately, I was not as good at Indy at making up for it.

Meet Truffles, the special kitty who wears glasses to help kids feel better about wearing theirs

Nearly four years ago, Danielle Crull rescued a stray kitten from a forest in Pennsylvania.

Now, that spunky kitty is changing hundreds of lives by helping children with eye problems feel more confident about wearing glasses and eye patches.

Truffles, now famous for her glamorous glasses -- which range from sparkling purple ones to her favorite green pair -- works alongside her mom, an optician.

Crull runs her own practice, A Child's Eyes, in Mechanicsburg, where her primary focus is infants, toddlers and children in elementary school.

This is a HORRIBLE story...

Brighton cat killer jailed for five years
Security guard Steve Bouquet, 54, finally captured on CCTV by a cat owner after attacks on 16 animals
A security guard who killed cats in a string of attacks in Brighton has been jailed for more than five years.

Steve Bouquet, 54, a shopping mall security guard from Brighton and Hove, had denied 16 counts of criminal damage in relation to cats and one count of possession of a knife but was convicted last month.

The owners of some of the cats Bouquet stabbed to death were at Hove crown court on Friday to see him imprisoned for five years and three months. Nine cats – Hendrix, Tommy, Hannah, Alan, Nancy, Gizmo, Kyo, Ollie and Cosmo – were killed and another seven injured.

After a spree that lasted from October 2018 to June 2019 he was finally captured on CCTV set up by an owner of a dead cat.

Not surprised at them coming at the sound of food and also not surprised that they realized that treats were available when they heard a certain name. They are much more talented at figuring things out than most birthers.

When I was growing up, our cat food bowls were downstairs by the washer and dryer. You could walk up and either shake the cat foot box/bag or start pouring and you would hear a thunk or two upstairs followed by the patter of paws on the way to the stairs, and then down the stairs.

I have but to open the desk drawer (and it's a specific drawer, not just ANY drawer in the desk) and I instantly have four imploring faces gathered around me.
