Some news items suggest that the AGs appeal was for purely political matters, aka strong man on crime, though the guy was declared innocent
Without researching the background, my response would be....
DUH
Liberty and justice for all take a back seat to the latest election campaign. An AG election is more important than some guy's life, especially if he is a race that doesn't matter.
Very cool. I recommend you to click Mrich's link for the full story.
In times of terrible crisis throughout our history, America's fortune has been that great leaders have surfaced, as if from nowhere. It has happened too many times to be coincidence, and I'm starting to suspect that it's happening again.
Yeah. What happened to music videos? Did YouTube steal the glory forcing MTV to become just another network?
Nope, there was no youtube. No home internet yet really.
It was crazy. Well, we did get beavis and butthead out of it. But "The Real World" reality show came along and I could not pull Luke away. And so here we are. Anti-reality TV shows across all networks.

Fun at this end of this Judge Simpson video, the next guy up was perturbed by the guy before him earning 6x93 day contempt charges during a misdemeanor hearing.
This is so weird. First of all, there's the DFL (that's the Democratic party in Minnesota) candidate for the Minnesota legislature, Judd Hoff. Then there's his wife Wendy. While the MN DFL party has disavowed Judd, the county DFL party still endorses him. Judd has been in trouble with the law before, once convicted of felony assault in a machete-wielding incident. His wife was just found to have stolen, over several months, a total of 244 yard signs. Political signs, garage sale signs, upcoming concert signs, it didn't matter. If it was a yard sign, she took it.
