Some rapper I've never heard of, Ninki Minaj. was arrested for Bringing weed into an Airport in Amsterdam.
She's sold over 100 million records and has several number 1 albums and multiple number 1 songs. She has also won a shit ton of music industry awards.
Just because you aren't familiar with her work doesn't mean she isn't well-known.

Nothing personal intended. It's just one of my own hot buttons when someone's talent is dismissed or discounted just because someone else isn't familiar with them. On a very granular level, it feels too much like "I know nothing about it/them/this particular subject so it must not be important." My mind sees that as the equivalent of someone having a strong opinion on something they know nothing about, be it art or politics or anything else, and then arguing about it.

One of the things I like about Fogbow is we have a breadth of subject matter experts who are not uncomfortable speaking on things not in their wheelhouse. And when inaccurate info is given, amicable corrections are offered, apologizes extended, and we all learn something. It's a beautiful thing.

IT"S PACHELHELL
She's very good and even better in her improv when you could not tell what piece it was based on. I might have to do that.
It's that wedding song that will cause this organist to scream out during the bridesmaids' procession: "Run as if your life depends on it because if I have to play this piece any longer, IT WILL!!!"
