It's downtown near the Commons. I'll be heading that direction this summer to go stay in the will visit my dad, so will take a day or two to look at a few apartments nearby. I know it's a bit pricey, but no worse then Dallas.MN-Skeptic wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 9:36 pm Would your office be in downtown Minneapolis or in one of the suburbs?

I've started Humira, so hopefully that will help things along. Maybe I can find a doc down at the Mayo clinic. It's only a touch over an hour away, so not too bad for what I have, which needs a specialist.

When I relocated from Long Island to New Jersey many years ago I thought that Long Island girl Mrs. V might divorce me. That move was voluntary.
A few years later I was relocated involuntarily to Texas right after doing significant renovations to our NJ house. Then back to New Jersey. Then back to Texas. Following my paycheck.

Excitement!!!! The annual Winter Festival with ice sculptures! Sledding! Cross Country Skiing. And LAKES!!! Did you hear about all of the lakes??
My cousin lived there for several years due to her husband being transferred from Arkansas. I loved visiting them there. They lived in Eagan. The Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum is next door in Wisconsin a short drive from Minneapolis! It was cool! White hydrangeas are everywhere in the summer!

I was on Humira for eight years ending five years ago for PsA. I never had any trouble with it, it just stopped working for me one day. So I switched to Cosentyx, which worked for about five years before it started lagging. Now I'm on Skyrizi as of two months ago. Fingers crossed. But Humira was good stuff and I never had any side effects from it, good luck!

I spent many nights camping with friends by the lakes. They're wonderful, but beware of the black flies (which are so big, they're also the state bird of Minnesota ). They can't lift an adult, but they love to carry off small children.Tiredretiredlawyer wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 9:15 am And LAKES!!! Did you hear about all of the lakes??

Thanks everyone. I'm mostly looking forward to it. And thanks for the confidence in Humira. I'm hoping it works well for me.
As for Minnesota: I'm very familiar with it, the weather in that area, and all that fun stuff. I grew up in North Dakota and lived in the Twin Cities area for a couple of years. Made many trips there as well while my brother lived in the Uptown area. So, I know the area.
I'm looking forward to relocating, if it's feasible. Still waiting on information.
