"Don't burn my map!!" Was my family the only one who used to yell that when the map burn?
There's a lot of things that need to change. One specifically? Police brutality.

Originally I said no soundtracks but that seems too rigid. So soundtrack away!!

Here's one that recurs on a fav of mine, Death in Paradise. It's always makes me smile. We thought for sure they were singing Tighty Whities on Your Bum Bum.

Narrator: They are not.

I don’t understand, but I remember reading a long time ago that the “Mission Impossible” theme had a somewhat unique beat. I do know that it’s instantly recognizable.

From Wikipedia:

The Morse code for M.I. is two dashes followed by two dots ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄ ▄ ; if a dot is one beat and a dash is one and a half beats, then this gives a bar of five beats, exactly matching the theme's underlying rhythm. It has been suggested that Schifrin consciously used the Morse code as a starting point for his composition, but this cannot be verified.[2]

There are just so many, they are a true American art form. People all over the word can sing these, even if they don't speak English, I've been with people doing it. And right about Hawaii 5 O, it's a top 10 for me and should have included it.

Do you also remember all these lyrics?

Did you know this theme song had lyrics added later? The music was written as an instrumental with lyrics written by Harold Adamson, who was nominated five times for an Oscar. The lyrics to "I Love Lucy" were sung by Desi Arnaz in the episode "Lucy's Last Birthday".

Classic:

My buddy Ann Hampton Calloway wrote The Nanny's theme song:

This is before my time, but I worked with Stubby Kaye on a Broadway show called GRIND. He was a character! I was too young to know his work, but somewhere I still have one -- backstage, he used to hand out a fortune cookie-sized paper and say, "Can you cash a little check"? He did This Kid's show with blatant ads embedded in the show, Shenanigans, a few are on YouTube.

This one makes me cry thinking about my Dad, this was my era and he was my hero :(

There are so many movie themes, Slim, maybe that's another topic. This is so fun, a trip down Memory Lane. And we haven't even cracked game show themes yet!

Decided to tweet/post about it:
