Several years ago, someone facetiously suggested that you could freak your neighbors out by naming your WiFi hotspot "FBI Mobile Serveillance Van # 402".

Sounds like someone actually did it. I never quite had the nerve.

For many years, that was the standard security protocol at the very advanced telecom/semiconductor company I worked for. The wifi network was in the "DMZ," outside the main firewall, with the SSID "Cerberus" that was not broadcasting and did not need a password.
