And it was weird. And toward the end got really stupid IMO.
I agree it got stupid at the end, but for most of its run it was “good” weird.

Its biggest problem with Lost was that it's creators loved posting mysteries but hated explaining them. So they piled on mystery after mystery and eventually the whole thing was way too bloated to be believable, and they never gave answers to fucking anything. Every "answer" was another fucking mystery, and people never asked straight questions or got straight answers as that would explain something, so the dialouge became increasingly shit and the characters just looked like morons.

The first season was fantastic and the second season was great but people started to mutter... then it got obvious they were making it up as they went along. Plus Shannon always had perfect hair extensions when all the other women's hair was allowed to get tangled up... [/bitch]

Reading stuff about the story years afterwards is actually quite interesting.

I remember enjoying the first season, then during the second getting the idea that it wasn’t going anywhere and it became missable and finally becoming unwatchable for me.

Am I the only one here who never watched a single episode of "Lost"?

Also, for a show that was apparently a ratings hit, I find it strange that it hasn't shown up in syndication, yet. At least, not on any of the cable channels that I get. Is it being shown on one of the paid streaming services?

Neither I nor Dr. Vicklund were aware of it's existence until yesterday.

Lost was too episodic to be suitable for syndication. Miss some episodes and you could be completely... uh... lost.

Plus if you dropped into a season 5 episode and they are all yammering about some guy called Jacob, "The Man in Black," and the cast are in 2 groups following 2 different incomprehensible story-lines, would you stick around

I never watched it either, but I watched the first two episodes on Hulu last night. It seemed pretty good.

Ya, the first season is great. Second is pretty good too. The acting is fantastic. But it goes nowhere.

You can look it up for solutions to all the questions these days, and go "uh what?" They were still posing "mysteries" 2 episodes before the last episode ffs.

The vast majority of "kidnapped" children are taken by a parent or other family member, usually in something involving a custody dispute.

Yeah, but they are ok with those kidnappings since that is 'righting the wrong of government overreach!'.

They have a point. I’ve seen more of Lake’s husband in the last week than I have in…well, ever. I’ve never seen him at all until this week.
