I’m sorry you’re going through all this. :crying: :crying: :crying:

I’ve had cancer three times in the last 14 years and I’m still here fighting the good fight!

I’m sure the 699th regiment will take good care of you as you recover, hopefully without using your stomach as a trampoline. Take care! :bighug: :bighug:

I'm glad you're back home and I'm hoping for a speedy recovery. If my Schnauzer, Evie, was there she'd be snuggled up next to you helping you recover.

Are you kidding? They practically chase you out of the hospitals now as soon as you wake up! :rotflmao:

I'm lucky (?) I stayed overnight! I'm sore as hell, look like I have 5 gunshot wounds on my belly but I have Tramadol so it's not so bad. I walked half a mile today, which wore me out but they said to exercise.

Most excellent. Yeah, my attitude is, you gotta do the rehab, or what's the point of going through all that pain? It hurts to use my right arm, but I do my rehab exercises religiously.

I bought a "shoulder surgery pillow" (oh, goog it) and then I realized, the thing is mostly good for people who can't use their shoulder none, because they didn't do their rehab, and now it's stiff or locked in position, and it hurts, that's why you need a special pillow.

But I am not going to have a stiff arm or a lot of pain. :fingerwag:

I returned the pillow for a refund.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

People like you and I have to fight to stay healthy and active. Everybody meets the same end, but they're gonna have to drag me out kickin' and hollerin'. Get out there and walk again today, that's the ticket. :bighug: :bighug:

Sadly, physical therapy doesn't work if it's not uncomfortable. No pain, no gain. Yeah, I'd like to smack whomever coined that phrase, too.

To quote some jerk, it depends. For some shoulder injuries I was told if it hurts, STOP. Capital letters. As in you're making the injury worse. You raise your arm until it starts to hurt, and over time you can raise it more and more before it hurts. It worked.
