Off to the hospital tomorrow for 3 appointments. More next week. I think the surgery is less than 3 weeks away.
Meanwhile, my son & partner have to move - their rental is being sold. Have to find an affordable rental - housing is horrifically high in Honolulu. They asked to move in w/me while they hunt. My condo is small, 2 bedroom/1 bath. One cat (theirs), one dog. Mocha has visited w/the cat before, and it didn't go well. The cat was disgusted when he met Mocha. Scared Mocha!
Might be helpful to have them with me, but it will be tight.
I still haven't settle in here, so I better get going on unpacking everything and have a yard sale.

Oh, what a mess! I'm sorry everything seems to be so chaotic for you right now! I hope things with you son and his partner can be worked out and that the cat won't give Mocha too much trouble!

They are breaking up, apparently. He'll be living with me while he finds a new apartment. My deal is he has to get rid of all his boxes in my condo.
He can't stay long because he has to stay in a political district. (Don't ask, too confusing ....) But it will be great to be with me while I'm recovering from the aorta surgery and Mocha will have care.
He took to Mocha again to work at the senate today. He was a very bad boy! He peed on the floor and humped people's legs.
I probably should have sent some of his toys to keep him busy. But two hours later, I heard Mocha was wonderful. Some other people brought their dogs, and they had a great time!

Andy's post deeply touched me. I'm very weak. Can work from my bed. Surgery is next week. I don't know how much that will make my life better. So I'm searching for my will (ACK can't find it) and doing more to get rid things in my house. And I'm adding my son on my savings accounts.
He has a dad (not well), two sisters, and a gazillion nephews and nieces in Australia. I'm urging him to visit them.
