I've always considered the term "asshole" as applicable to anyone that has one, regardless of gender or leg count.
That is really interesting, I kid you not. I wonder where I got the idea that only men are assholes. I use the words like bitch and drama queen as applicable regardless of gender, so I don't know where I got that from. Who has the TARDIS, I may need to go back and review some of the early influences on my use of language.
Leg count? I would except I fondly recall your goggie who only had three.

How A Michigan Community Is Working to Reduce Negative Police Stops
The goal is to prevent a traffic stop “fishing expedition” and racial profiling, Washtenaw County Sheriff Jerry Clayton says.
Michigan group is using vehicle maintenance as a way to help minimize negative and unnecessary police interactions and positively empower the community.
From replacing burnt-out headlights to making sure turn signals work properly, volunteers with Pull Over Prevention clinics are offering simple but potentially cost-prohibitive car repairs for free and eliminating automotive issues that might give law enforcement a reason to pull people over.
“It’s bad when a police officer is just randomly stopping people, randomly asking for consent on a fishing expedition, and we know that a lot of times, that happens in areas that are socially and economically challenged, that also happen to be in areas of Black and Brown, and it leads to racial profiling,” Washtenaw County Sheriff Jerry Clayton said, according to Detroit’s WXYZ-TV.
“We launched the first one, it was really successful, there was a clear need for it,” POP volunteer Jonah Hahn said. “We launched the next one, even more people came in. So that was just an indication, okay, this is something we're doing. This is something we're doing right. It's clearly a need in this area.”
Pull Over Prevention is always evolving and has become about more than just car repairs. The group also provides information on health and food pantry resources and works with the Washtenaw County Health Department to distribute COVID safety supplies, including cleaning products and masks.

Poor old Murphy, he was a wonderful old dog... He was half Great Dane half Lab and a total sweetheart, he died in 2013.
Was it that long ago when I saw him? Time sure flies.
Yep, it seems time/years fly by a lot faster the older you get...
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Missouri House on Thursday voted in favor of creating “Rush Limbaugh Day.”
The GOP-led House tacked the provision on another bill, which then passed the chamber. The bill still needs Senate approval.
The proposal is one of several pitched by Republican state lawmakers to honor the late Limbaugh every Jan. 12, his birthday.
The Cape Girardeau native gained national fame before he died in February at age 70 after a battle with cancer.
Supporters said Limbaugh was a conservative icon worthy of the honor.
“Rush demonstrated courage to speak boldly and encouraged his listeners and viewers to reach for their dreams and to push onward beyond the naysayers and discouragers that we all encounter in life,” Ashland Republican Rep. Sara Walsh said.

Murphy was a regal and handsome puppy!
My sister has a 3 legged chihuahua named Freeway. Freeway was given to a vet after being found injured on ... the freeway. He had to have one of his rear legs amputated. The vet named Freeway, and Lori's family decided to keep the name.

Duggar is going to prison for a very long time. His wife is pregnant for the 7th time. Josh sexually assaulted 4 girls when he was younger, 2 of whom were his sister.
Initially he assaulted four sisters. Later on:
Duggar's parents learned of additional incidents and victims, included the touching of a babysitter, reaching under the dress of a younger sister who was in his lap, and cornering a sister in the laundry room to reach under her clothing. The Duggars had also been told the abuse included a much younger sister, who, according to the Duggars, "didn't understand she had been improperly touched."
Thank you, Lani. I had read about this ages ago, and forgot he assaulted 4 sisters.
It's truly sad that Josh's parents didn't take adequate actions when it was discovered that he was molesting girls. Biblical teachings have a place for believers. But one has to wonder how different things would be now if Josh's parents got him real psychological treatment by specialists who work with sexual predators.
Josh's victim count keeps rising. I hope he hasn't assaulted any of his children, but frankly, I think the chances are extremely high that he has assaulted one or more of his children. But all of children are victims. There is no hiding for Josh's family.

It may very well be a life sentence, but I don't know how long it will be.
There is a hierarchy of sins even amongst the damned, child abuse is the cardinal sin in prison...

My dad was born in Cape Girardeau as well. If his mother were still around, I could just imagine her opinion of the Missouri GOP's move. It would not be complimentary.
One of her sisters would probably have used some inappropriate language. She knew and had some dealings with John Ashcroft. Her opinion and description of him were, um, colorful.
My college campus is nestled in densely forested hills.
Yesterday from campus:
Game cameras have picked up several sightings of bears including a mother and cubs on and near the hiking trails in the woods south and west of campus very near the parking lots. Please use extreme caution when in the area. For more info on bear safety go to: https://www.dfw.state.or.us/wildlife/li ... _bears.asp
They are referring to the college campus parking lots.
Usually the alerts are about cougars near the parking lots.
We have a very large flock of turkeys on campus. They're awesome. They nest in certain campus trees.
